Next Level Motivation!

ChaoticKitsune

OK, so I'm going to admit I love to jog upfront. This game, though, has been helping me get into much better shape. Other running apps I've tried so far haven't compelled me to run as this one has. Where I'll often slow to a walk, I keep pushing to fell a beast or troll or keep someone alive. Supplying an accuracy percentage has me playing over and over for 100%. Randomized encounters keep each run new, even only playing Q1. Character customization is great for rest time. I could go on and on! I have seen what others write about, though. Q2 is better than Q1 in spite of a few small flaws (one segment doesn’t tell you when to return to regular pace and there are some continuity errors in the dialogue), but Q3 has poor audio quality and doesn’t feel as well written as Q1 or Q2. As well, while the option for pics with your avatar is neat, it’s a running game and I would like more reason to keep at it (more achievements or slayer goals or Athletomancy, for example) while I wait for Q4. I still love the game and share about it and encourage my nerdy friends to try it, but at least I can hope for better sound quality in an update and/or a better prepared Q4. LOVED the Halloween event!

Please work the bugs out.

Great idea. Bad bugs. Wife had to remove from her phone to access internet again per apple. I didn’t have that issue but the gold accrued in the game randomly disappears. Love the story and hope the bugs are worked out soon but until then it seems to be a dud.

I love this game!

I never write reviews but this game deserves one. I wish I could find more like it. I hate running. I have no motivation but the story keeps me going.

Almost perfect

TeaInAUKGarden

It’d be perfect if I could sink with something other than just apple health. Apple health doesn’t always read all the steps from my activity tracker so I feel cheated

Did my first run and I’m hooked!

Really fun story! I ran for 30 minutes and the dialogue was entertaining, silly, and exciting the whole time. I’m really looking forward to my next game. Edit: run #2 was just as fun! my only wishes would be that 1) the fun run screen seems to just freeze for me and not work 2) I wish that I could listen to podcasts or other music apps than iTunes during fun run. Still a great concept and I’m sure it will just get better.
