Great app!

This app is great for those just learning how a sentence is formed. I like how each part of the sentence has a picture to go with it. I also like how after you see the sentence formed, it lets you record your own voice saying the sentence. You have to remember it from the screen before which is great for memory. The allotted recording time could be a little longer but, this is a great app!

Great for a wide range of ages!

This App is designed to help children learn how to create phrases, such as "Wash the car." There is a recording feature in which you record the phrase and you can play it back while watching an animation of the action. I enjoy the fact that even toddlers can take advantage of this App through the 'easy play' option. I plan to use this in my practice and I definitely would recommend it to anyone working with children either with speech delays or who are learning to make short phrases.

Great for language development!

Whether you're a teacher or therapist working with speech delays, or just a really proactive parent, this app is a great resource! It helps teach children to expand from simple words to simple phrases using pictures to illustrate every word in the sentence. At the end, your student can record his own voice saying the sentence he just learned. It's a terrific tool!

Good app for sentence building

This is a wonderful app for teaching young children with developing language to put sentences together. The child taps on each part of the sentence. The child then has the opportunity to record the sentence on their own and listen to it. There are 3 levels of play. One thing i don't like is that user can skip the sentences and go directly to the animation.

I am really liking this app!

I like this app. I really like the opportunity to record. The students really like this!

Wonderful!

What a wondefrul little app to help those starting to put words together or to help those putting words together. The visual cues are just enough but not too overbearing. They are a help when the person goes to record the phrase so they can recall what was said. The animations help to keep them engaged and are fun. Just a great little app overall.

A must have app!

The pictures in this app are gerat and engaging. My favorite part of this app is the recorder. I love that my child can record and hear his errors, they always sound different than just saying it. Although this app is pretty simple, it can go a long way. I can see where there may be some that say it's for short term, but those that have continuing language problems will be able to use this app for a long time and is well worth the money BECAUSE it is "simple"

Exceptional App!

OtterMom4

This app is wonderful in its simplicity & ease of use. There are clear and concise directions on how to use the app and how to change the parameters of the app to fit the student/child. The background is completely free of clutter which helps autistic children who find such backgrounds distracting and even painful - definitely not a problem in this app! Love that the phrases are either 3 or four words in length. Being able to record the phrase helps the child to discern the proper flow of the phrase, whether they are stating the words correctly, and whether or not you are speaking too softly or too loudly. It has helped my son to self regulate and the more he played, the less he needed the verbal prompts. Simplicity that gets straight to the point and allows the student/child to be successful in a relatively quick timeframe makes this a valuable app to have.

Has Good Potential

Nice touch on recording the users phrases. The kids are going to love hearing themselves. Good app for beginning language learners. Would be useful for second language learners.
