With an easy to learn mechanic and an impressive amount of depth, Firewhip is crazy addictive. It feels a lot like Super Hexagon but with much more finesse and experimentation. Definitely worth $1.

As of the June 15, 2015 update.The game is very vibrant and fun. It could be a worthwhile score based twitch game if the key mechanic weren't broken. Some may say that the game needs levels or more content but I disagree as that is by no means the kind of game it is. It is the kind of gameplay when you were in line at any event or on the couch while you're waiting to leave for work. It does this very well. However, the whip mechanic is far too irresponsive for the quick reflexes this game requires. If you were looking for something along the lines of Ridiculous Fishing or Canabalt then this is a great addition to your library. I would wait to purchase it until a later update though.

This game is worth the 99 cents but one thing that held me back from 5 starts was the lack of material. Most of the game is really repetitive. I understand that this is the main point of the game, to whip with a great explosion but I feel so much more potential for this game. Love the game over all.

This is a great quickplay experience. It takes a bit to get a feel for the whip, but it's really rewarding when you get a good whip CRACK! There is no shortage of challenge either. Once you reach higher waves, whip control becomes really important. Definitely worth checking out!
