If you were forced to land your drone some distance away, this convenient App will determine the latitude and longitude of the drones' location and its' distance from you. The inbuilt compass can then direct you to the drone, saving you a haphazard and time consuming search.
In addition, the "Manual Mode" allows you to search for your drone even when using an alternative autopilot or Radio Control telemetry units. Just enter the last known coordinates from your drones’ telemetry and FIND MY DRONE will calculate the bearing and direct you to that location.
I tried all 9 of my drones and this app would not lock it in to any of them. On my iPhone nor my Android cell. No instructions on how to use the app either. I do better at getting them back by putting my name and cell number on the top of the drones. Always get a call back.
App does not work, Bill has not done anything to this in over 3 years and even fails to give an instruction manual with it. This type of garbage really needs to be removed from the Apple App Store to make room on the apple servers for apps that do actually work.
This app hasn’t been updated in 3+ years. No instructions on how to use it and despite messing with the app for a while and having the drone feet away, it didn’t detect it. I do not see how this is useful. Waste of time. Uninstalled.
I tried to use the app myself but it doesn't work. I tried to locate the drone but it says that my drone is in Vancouver! ??
According to this app my drone flew from colorado to vancouver. And if im smart enough i dont think thats possible.
I lost signal and my drone got away from me. I'm trying to use this app to help me find it and I can't figure out how it works? The numbers just keep scrolling..anyone have any insight to offer?
However I don't believe this works with DJI products, Phantom 2, Vision, Inspire? Would love if there were a way it would. I have Bluetooth, osd and the ground station. Thanks!
The ONLY thing this app does is show a GE pic of the iphone location. There is no manual entry of coordinates whatsoever. There are other apps that serve this exact purpose available in the app store. This one isn't worth the time to even look at.
