Lots of options- very convenient to have metrobus and circulator info in one app. Usually totally accurate with arrival times and whatnot. Not a perfect five stars only because it allows you to save just three bus stops by number for quick reference - would be way more useful with eight or ten available saves.

Train trip planner is not live and only tells me general information like how long the trip will take and how much it will cost... These are things I already know as a DC resident. It would be nice to know live-time trips.

I don't want to live in DC without this app. It's the best of the lot. Note the store screenshot of the metro map is from the previous version. The author has updated the map to the new rush+ map, so don't worry it's all up to date. You won't go wrong here. ??????? Every metro rider in D.C. should buy this app! Ive tried them all and this is THE best, hands down. Now with multi-tasking support and retina you will be hard pressed to find flaws. Find nearby stops in a flash, view train times clearly and access your favorites with a touch. I evangelize this app to all my D.C. friends and visitors. I love it need it rely on use it every day. This review updated from 3 to 5 stars with this update!!! ??????

A "must have" when visiting DC

Visiting DC for the first time this week and had no idea how to navigate the Metro. This app was invaluable... Using the closest stations feature (with directions) and the trip planner feature we were able to use the metro like we lived in the city. It was great knowing the cost AND number of stops as we moved from place to place (our kids could count the stops knowing when we would get off instead of asking "are we there yet?"). Also knowing the minutes until the next few arrivals was helpful. I highly recommend this app to anyone who uses the Metro, and if you are a tourist this app and a Metro card will insure you and your family have a great time!
