If you started playing Final Fantasy I and have played all or most titles since then you will probably enjoy this game.
Best retro FF game

This really is the best FF game on the App Store. It’s pretty f2p friendly and getting your favorites from all the games is not to hard at all. Haven’t came up to a pay wall or a money grab moment yet. The only complaint I have is the loot. There isn’t much to speak of. Being a FF game it should have lots of items, and I’m not saying the best or relics I just mean the basic gear to equip your hero’s with. You hardly find anything. Am I supposed to farm the same battle wasting stamina over and over again? Or am I missing something. If not for the very low equipment drops I would have given it 5 stars but other than that this is a very well done game. Hopefully they can adjust the item drop rate in the future. I would still tell anyone looking for a Final Fantasy game to try this game it is truely the best one on the App Store!! Edit.... Really needs to be a chat for players to ask questions and gets answers about characters and quest. What’s the point of adding friends if you can’t talk to them ? Not a cheesy one either that one allows 5 words like some games do where you can’t even enter a complete sentence, I would like to see a good chat system with a good translation option in it and not a stupid censor that doesn’t allow words like “make” if a word is in the game then it should be aloud in chat. I believe chat would improve this game a lot and help new players that may be having a hard time and or stuck. Again I would say anyone that likes final fantasy games or retro rpgs in general should definitely try this it is a blast to play and fairly easy to learn.

I have played a ton of turn-based mobile games throughout the years! All of which I end up deleting within a few months out of boredom. However, FFRK has kept me engaged for years! They are always coming up with more challenging bosses and power ups to continually strengthen your favorite characters. The gotcha system is fair, it just takes a while to get enough for a draw. However, there are several events throughout the year that give very generous rewards! In my honest opinion, this one of the best games in the apple store. Give it a shot and you won’t be disappointed!

I don’t know what the magic is: * nostalgia * generous gacha * strong sense of growing more powerful Anyway, this game is super addicting and I’ve been playing it for years and hours and hours and I expect I will continue to do so.
Fun game, but losing interest

Mythril draws usually give crap, so building teams will take years. I’ve been drawing on 4 or 5 chains since I started 1.5 years ago, and every draw gave dupes and more dupes. They want you to spend money on extra draws. I’m good.

Good battle system that is more involving and engaging (active time battle), you will have to pull equipment to get the better soul breaks otherwise you craft everything else. Not sure why there isn’t a bigger player base? This game provides history for every FF game out there. The history of all the games and what the characters went through. Including the hidden characters they had in their games. The music from each game is also on point. Great stuff! Ps Jerod says he’s the GOAT!
