Absolute favorite FF mobile game

Large story, great characters, classic ff style combat. Decently emersive story and really cool character equipping. Only now playing this game a second time after losing my first save.
Linked device nightmare

How in the world is this game so difficult to log into. I logged in a device which was linked already to the game. This caused my main account to be unlinked from my cell phone and now I can’t open it. I reset my phone and reinstalled the game, when I try to load my facebook account it states its already linked to another game in progress. How the hell do I even log back in? Do I buy a new phone? This is ridiculous. These free to play games are taking over and I wonder if governmental agencies are aware they are using gambling tactics with their “relic draws”. I have never been in a store to buy an item, give my money and then have a chance at obtaining an item I like. I have spent hundreds of dollars in this game and now I want access to MY investment.

Loading screens

This game used to be fun... now it’s plagued with loading screens... some long, some short, some with errors prompting me back to title screen... wamt to enter dungeon... loading screen... want to optimize party... loading screen. Want to pick roaming warrior... loading screen. Want to enter battle.... loading screen. Finish battle? loading screen. Follow new roaming warrior? loading screen... collect daily tasks. loading screen. This is not a connection issue... happens when I’m on 4g, lte, an when I’m on wifi... it kills me knowing this game used to to fun...
More than you’re expecting.

When I downloaded this game, I didn’t know what to expect from it. I like mashup games where you have access to several characters across many series, so I figured it was worth a try. I have not been disappointed. I’m not quite sure which genre to sort this game under, but there are a fair bit of foreign language games on the App Store that have used the same formula as this game. The difference with this game is that the tutorials are understandable and the menus are intuitive. It’s also full of characters and stories you’ll recognize if you’re a fan of Final Fantasy. As far as gameplay goes, the scenarios feel very similar to the battle style of Final Fantasy games before VII. You are allowed a group of up to 5 characters of your choosing and they can use various spells and abilities that match their abilities in their respective games. So far, there hasn’t been anything super challenging, but I’m also not very far into the “Realm” dungeons yet. The music and sound effects are nostalgia bombs and the victory tune is dependent on the style of the dungeon you just completed (FF1/FF7/FFXI) which I think is a wonderful detail. There is even a music menu where you can listen to your favorite songs from the games. My one and only complaint so far is that the abilities feel stale because they are hard to come by. I’m using Freya from Final Fantasy IX and I was stuck with only Jump on her for a long time. I think this system could be improved by either reducing the cost to craft abilities, which could be balanced by increasing their upgrade costs, or make them an uncommon drop from dungeons. All in all, you can definitely trust the high average rating for this game. It’s a lot of fun and I find myself opening it up several times a day to run a dungeon or two. Easy 5 stars from me!
