Review of FF ATB by ++KitsyKat++

KitsyKat OfFun

I found this game a fun Final Fantasy crossover, the first one I ever played. My joys come from the fact that you have a huge party, and that there are many enemies to fight, gear to find, and characters to meet. I even enjoy tearing the weaker enemies to shreds! The only flaw I can think of (besides micro transactions) is that they turned all of the enemies into freaking damage sponges. Even the god dang GOBLINS! I would recommend this game to any fans and newbies alike!

Meh

BroadwayBaybee

It is fun but there needs to be a shop that lets you use gil

Ugh

Utter garbage fueled by greed. The "gameplay" consists of rubbing your finger over your screen without any thought or skill. Square is such a shallow shell of its former self.

Good but...

I love the game, and how it plays, but I can't figure out how to equip the weapons we get, please help...

Unique and surprisingly addicting.

Update: not sure what happened, but the SNS button doesn't work for me anymore and I can't complete my full party. Will there be a fix? The concept is simple but the game is a lot of fun. There is plenty of game to play for the original cost of $3.99 but be warned that all of the DLC could add up to well over $45.

Do not buy

RickThaProblem

Waste of money you can't even pick who you want to target and the game will automatically level out all enemies damages hp so the fight can last to defeat all your characters so you can spend money on reviving and the stupid .99 cents to unlock a special character not to mention 3.99 for a single map just to battle..def not worth it

"Free To Play" bunch of lies

This isn't even a game it's a clash of clans wannabe preying on Final Fantasy fans it uses it's nostalgic and beautiful music and graphics to lure suckers in and you have to pay $$$ to revive yourself or face the dreaded timer and it cost's $3 to get a random character from any FF game basically you want Terra or Cloud NOPE your getting Lightning or her annoying sister Serah instead because FFXIII is the worst in the main series, and the "gameplay" uses the famous Active Time Battle system but unlike in the SNES or PS1 FF games this has no strategy it has special effects disguised as gameplay and all you do is swipe your darn finger and it's not fun and devoid of strategy what so ever, overall don't download this game it's just a cash grab targeting FF fans with it's fanservice and to the people giving this 4 or 5 stars just shut up your not a gamer

Why the greed?

Doop22

The game is a great kick back from the old school series I grew up with. Being able to play as characters I played with a long time ago was nostalgic. But having to use real currency to get signature characters was a joke. This company makes so much money with everything else but they still wanna Harte for everything. I hear square Enix and immediately think money. Why not just make them available with game currency? There's no harm

Reeks of a cash grab

Looks like it might be good, but why would SE make anything good for $4. Battle System: Here's a random assortment of characters, just keep tapping until the battle is over. Want choice or strategy? Too bad. Music: like the sprites, it tries to imitate a real FF game, but instead it's just another layer of nostalgia to keep you from noticing the crap within. Add ons: Thought $4 was enough for the game? Well there are the three chapter packs for $4 each. Then the 35 characters you can unlock for 99 cents each. Oh and those are randomly chosen, so keep pumping in the bucks until you get you fave. And this doesn't even touch the Hourglass system. Hourglass system: That army of characters you have? One hit and they're dead. They respawn every three minutes. You can also bring them all back at once using an hourglass. You can buy those with you hard earned money too. But SE was nice enough to give you three at the beginning to use when you choose. Except to get through the first battle you practically are forced to use one by the control scheme. Gil: You earn it, but you can't spend it. Equipment: You earn it but you can't equip it. Basically everything that makes a FF game has been stripped out and replaced with moneyhats. But hey, if you want to spend $50 on a game where you swirl your finger across the screen, be my guest.
