Is this legit?

ClaytonCorey

First of all, the logo for this app does not match the logo of financial engines website, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. At the initial login screen it doesn't even allow me to login, instead it asked me to find my account. I already have my account, so why would I need to find it again? The app continues to ask me to enter my first name, last name, date of birth, and last four of social, all of which is a red flag for me, especially with no other reviews and a misleading logo. I'll use the web based version.

Fake or not

Is this a real app?

Need to make it easy to login to existing account

Could not get in even though I am an existing customer

Unable to log in

Commensurate with other reviewers, I'm unable to log in. I'm not sure this is an illegitimate app, but something is not right or not documented well. Financial engines needs to better articulate what the issue or app audience is.

Much better than the old version

Now I can see how my account is doing for my retirement. It would be better to see my actual score.

High level view

I still will like to see more details and edit features like in the website.

Often wrong data

Houtxag75

Nice quick check of finances and projections. However, often it picks up wrong data in wrong categories. I have one small IRA that totals $11,000 - but today it is loaded with my investment balance over $900,000. Throws projections out the window. They need to correctly upload financial data to improve forecast data.

Wishing for efficiency

Doesn’t automatically maintain multiple account details that are managed by Financial Engines.

Not much there there.

Kinda simple and not too much info or incite. Lowers my already flagging confidence in the FE overall. Perhaps rethink my need for FE entirely. Seems like once they set your account up, they don’t really touch it after that. Seems like something I could have hired a financial consultant to do once and then check back once a year. But this company was recommended by my employer and I took the offer. Time to rethink this FE strategy perhaps.
