Very pleased

Tell me more

I’m quite happy w/ this app as a replacement for my previous nonogram addition. It provides enough free games to get me deeply hooked and to prove that the interface is well designed, then offers more games at a fairly reasonable price. Games can take anywhere from 15 minutes to 5 hours to complete.

Obsessed with this game...

for over a year!

Excellent!!

I’d give this app 6 stars if the developers added a color option instead of just black and white.

Great way to unwind

These are great for when you have a few minutes to spare or for letting go of stress. I use these to calm my bipolar mind. It took a few tries to get the hang of how they work, but now I’m hooked.

Love this app!

Idea behind the game is really great and the execution is even more impressive. Thanks!

Good app; very expensive, though

Buyer beware: you could end up spending thousands of dollars on Conceptis applications. Read on for details. This review includes the eight applications published on the iOS app store by Conceptis (Nurikabe, Tic-Tac-Logic, Link-a-Pix, Pic-a-Pix, Hashi, Sudoku, Slitherlink, and Fill-a-Pix). First off, their applications are well built and include many fun puzzles. I especially enjoy the weekly free puzzles, though it is a little irritating that they go away after four weeks and are not saved. However, the biggest problem—and I've noticed this mentioned in some reviews for these applications—is the high cost of puzzles. They are well done and fun, but when the costs are summed, they are rather high. There are 31,380 puzzles total (as of today) across the eight applications, ranging from very simple to rather complex, which would cost you a total of $3511 (not including tax). This is on par with the cost of licenses for professional-level applications. I think it's quite disingenuous of Conceptis to charge so much for the puzzles. When averaged (across all 8 applications for the entire range of puzzles), they total just over 15 cents/puzzle. That may not sound like much, but it can add up quickly. To contrast this, LogicPicColor, an iOS app like Pic-a-pix, has 16,778 total puzzles which cost a total of $30 (plus tax), averaging at a third of a cent per puzzle, about 50 times less than those from Conceptis. Now, LogicPicColor has some shortcomings and is not nearly as well done as the apps from Conceptis. Nonetheless, I don't believe Conceptis's apps and puzzles are worth that much of a premium, and will therefore be satisfied to look elsewhere. Perhaps someday they'll offer sales or discounts for puzzle bundles—ever since the apps were released, I've hoped for this, to no avail.

Current version doesn't work!

I love how the current version says it improves performance. Um yeah no. Since new version I can get into app. It's been updating/downloading for 2 days now. Before that the app worked just fine. I liked how the levels were easy to harder. I didn't like the price for some newer games. Overall it wasn't a bad app, just costly if you want more than the initial free levels.

Great Logic Puzzles

[Aera]

I've gotten into so many different logic puzzles, and really like Conceptis' variety. Fill-a-Pix is one of my favorites, and I keep coming back to do and redo these puzzles more than the others (e.g. Hashi, Link-a-Pix). My commute is mostly walking with 10min on a metro/subway (not so great for reading), so I find the Fill-a-Pix puzzles are great to do on my short span on the train. ☺️?

Great game

I've done hundreds of these and I never get tired of them! Great way to keep your mind sharp!

Love it!

Old review, haven't checked to see if my wishes are still wishes. Still playing. These guys just have so much of my money ;-). And I keep coming back to their puzzles (vs others that are obsessively playing for awhile and then kind of abandoned). Suggestion to author: In the tutorial, it says to mark 6's and 4's, but then the very first puzzle doesn't have them, and others have few. Might want 1st three or so puzzles to have more of those clues. Also, difficulty is currently only related to size of puzzle. But, some very easy, or easy puzzles are harder than expected (similar difficulty to hardest puzzles). Makes it harder for a new person to learn. Just suggestions... Great game!
