Bright Kids is known and trusted by parents, teachers, and children for its premiere tutoring service and its top-notch test prep books. Now Bright Kids is entering the mobile application field with new ways to help kids learn while having fun! Kids can play the new Figural Analogies game wherever they go, all while mastering critical and analytical thinking skills.
Who should be interested?
The Figural Analogies by Bright Kids app was designed for children as young as 2 and as old as 11. It is designed to help children practice core concept skills which will help in school and on exams used for admissions into private schools as well as gifted and talented programs throughout the United States. By familiarizing children with this type of question, kids will be able to easily tackle any figural analogy questions they see on tests in the future.

I downloaded this for my youngest kid who is taking the New York G&T test this year, and she had a lot of fun doing it. It did a good job showing how the analogies are working. I wish I had it for her older siblings when they had to take the test.
Love bright kids but this app isn't as good as expected. My daughter who enjoys their books quickly became bored. Slow app, not interesting in presentation.
Ok i admit figural analogies are not fun but my daughter got addicted to this one. While it has no frills, it does the job. i like the way that it shows the rotations so that kids can see it more clearly. A great app and we look forward to more apps from bright kids.
This APP looks nothing like the tests, figures are not applicable for good practice.
Our family tried out a few prep apps. Some offer engaging and well-designed interaction (e.g. Little Solver and Qwizful). We were looking for apps that build confidence and help young children enjoy the learning experience while introducing them to the puzzles, rather than go through rigid sample tests full with basic geometric shapes. The point in using an app is to maximize the interactive multimedia dimensions of this great medium to boost retention, not simply copy workbooks onto it.
Hi. If you have a minute, please read this rating. I'm taking the CogAt in less than 30 days, and the Internet is a mess of paying to practice CogAt, some are even gimmicks, so I thought, hey! There's a free app for practicing tests! I actually really liked the interface, with interesting graphics and cool stuff that makes you think you're not actually working but having fun and working. It's a win-win. I would suggest that they make more apps, not just for geometrical reasoning like this one, but for all the other aspects of the CogAt. That's gonna be really amazing and would solve all the paying problems. thanks for reading!
