A awesome app

Jacob Schumann

This thing has saved so much time and trips to the library and ups. It's fast and easy to navigate and worth the money.

Deceitful paid app

Looks18tome

I appreciate that you allow people to test out the basics of the app before buying it. However, I do not appreciate the lack of mention in the description. Very disappointing.

It's a great app just a couple suggestions though.

Dungeon19Master95

I love this app I've been using it to create npcs for my home brew D&D campaign as well as my pcs. However, the first suggestion I have is on the base attack bonus when you get to higher character levels you have your main base attack as well as a secondary and sometimes more. In this app though you only have the option of a single base attack bonus so you would have to keep track of the extras on paper or from the book. Also sometimes bonuses from items or feats can only be active under certain circumstances. So my suggestion for that is maybe add the option to put a description on each bonus as well just like you have the option for item descriptions and many other things. Regardless, this app is still very helpful and I will continue to use it for my character creation in the future.

Really good app

This is good. I like it. It's cool. Awesome.

A very good app, but a few shortcomings

LordRichard2

The app has a great ui and has a lot of convenient features. The app is missing some though: It hasn't been updated in awhile, with newest pathfinder data. Adding items and spells is cumbersome, as most aren't in the app and have to be copy and pasted. There are no nice ways to handle money and calculating change and remaining change without doing it manually. Notes are a bit cumbersome to read, as they appear as a single column of continual text with headlines. Writing chapters of a characters events in a campaign is very cumbersome to read and navigate. Writing notes has a bug, where the text area does not scroll when you get to the bottom, unless you add a ton of spaces and empty lines. The notes run off the screen and make it hard to keep typing. I am forced to make a ton of notes, with around only 20 lines each. The application also doesn't have a set of standard images for items, equipment, money, characters, spells or other dnd things. This could be due to licensing, but I figured they would find creative Commons or freely licensed images to use. This would make the app a lot more polished. Otherwise, it has a great system for calculating bonuses, adding auras, effects, and tracking counters for things easily. I also love the way that the application can export characters to other sources besides just iCloud. This is nice, as to not rely on Apple data storage. Overall, a great app, but needs updates and a few ux changes to be fully featured. Please don't abandon this application, it has a ton of potential.

Best on the App Store

Bufomaster

Loved it after I got the full version, tho had some stability though issues where it'd crash and wipe all my data from the app. Luckily it has an iCloud backup feature that allows me to back up hours of typed info so when it tries wiping my characters I'll be ready. What I'd like to see is a horizontal orientation mode, to make 4 hours of pecking into 1 1/2 hours of typing. An Exp Bar to show how close to your next level you are. A selection of "natural attacks" cuz my I know pet hellhound don't punch, he bite, and it's dumb to make bite a weapon...

Helpful and Easy to Use

K2568

I love the GUI as well as the fact that it automatically calculates ability and skill modifiers based on class and race. It also has an in app system for rolling different skill checks. I like that there is a notes section so you can record background information about your character. You can also add photos from your photo library to show a portrait of each character and to illustrate your notes. I can tell a lot of work went into this app and it is super awesome that it is offered for free. I ended up buying the full version just to support the developers since RPGs need more quality management apps like this.

Fantastic

Blongenecker

It does everything I could hope for.

Fantastic, would be perfect if...

jadenlife

Great app! Makes managing your character sheet and spells super convenient. If only it helped manage your leveling and was a little more clear with adding level or class stats as you progress through your adventure. Layout can be a little confusing, but it's much better than anything else I've found!

Decent

Manitac

Pretty good character design app, my only real nitpick is when you add your own weapons class etc it's doesn't save them for later use. Also doesn't level your characters so you still have to look up the advancements level to level. Other than that it's pretty solid.
