Game is incredibly glitchy and crashes all the time. You currently cannot buy new towers and the store will not let you purchase further items. Game play is fun; however the problems with the app make it not worth the price
Can’t buy items on iPhone XS Max or 11 Pro Max

I have 10,861 coins, and I can’t even spend them. I’ve been playing for years & this is ridiculous that they won’t even update it for the X size & shape screen. I’ve had the X and it had some problems. Then the XS Max & couldn’t even spend any coins any more. Same with the 11 Pro Max. The X came out 2 years ago, and it barely works on that. Most of the maps don’t even fit on this shape screen, but the fact that I can’t buy items, is unacceptable. I want my $9 back!!

I have spent around $100 and even after I receive enough stars I am NOT able to purchase any towers also can not buy the bonus weapons I.e mines freeze stuff like that
Needs update for iPhone 12+

Many of the maps are unplayable on an iPhone 12. There seems to be no way to drag a tower to the bottom row of the map, so you automatically loose all of those. Please update.

Hi. I used to play field runner 1 and loved this game. So now paid for field runner 2 but i cannot play tgis because of heating problem. It makes battery and phone heat ao fast easily and i feel dangerous because it is not normal. What can i do ? Please let me know. I turned off in the option for music sound , iCloud. But doesnt work.

I love Fieldrunners2, spent hours playing! Just wanted to report that on iphone12 i am unable to purchase new towers or items, if this could be fixed the game would be perfect!

I played both Fieldrunners and Fieldrunners2 for many many hours. Loved these games. I still think they are the best tower defense games out there by far. Had my Fieldrunners2 game on an Android phone before I switched back to apple fully maxed out on everything. Decided to try it out on my IPhone XS Max and was really excited to do it all over again.... really disappointed to find UI not at all optimized for this beautiful screen. Unable to place towers on bottom of screen do to issues with the screen swipe interference when you select towers at the bottom of the screen. Managed to play a couple levels but some levels are now completely unplayable. Read a lot of other reviews and I’m sad to say it looks like they just gave up on this game for now and won’t be fixing the issue. I tried there newer game that’s like clash of clans and while it looks nice it’s not as much fun as original Fieldrunners2 by far. Plus it’s all about in game purchases. Hate to see all games go this way. If the the UI was fixed on this for newer full screen phones this would be a 10 star game but as they have appeared to have sold out like other developers, it’s barely a 2 star game. Would love to see them develop a Fieldrunners 3 fully optimized for the new phones and can be fully purchased to play freely.
