Utterly ill conceived and frustrating

The way the placement of towers changes the route of the attackers is completely baffling to me. You can put a tower somewhere near the end and it changes their entire route from the beginning. (?!?!?!). I've never seen such idiocy. I've played countless tower defense games. After about an hour of play, I got stuck on the map that has a bridge. Yes, stuck - you don't get to play the game you bought any further. I pay for an hour of game. You get one very brief look at how the developers form a route around the bridge, and that's it. After you are of course unable to do it, they never give you another look. There is no help or tutorial, no tips screen, nothing. I have an extraordinary memory and a well above average intellect, I excelled at academics, and yet I can't comprehend the rhyme or reason of how to form routes in this. I really feel sorry for most people who try this. I am absolutely shocked this game has 900 reviews and is nearly 5 stars. It should be 1. You need to have a brilliant mind for puzzles to play this game. And no, I don't mean the fun and fascinating type like in the games The Room or Device 6, which I excelled at. I mean the draining frustrating kind devised by a person whose brain works more like a robot than a human. There are other puzzle maps in the game before I got stuck on this one, which I was completely unable to imagine why anyone would want to f$&& with. Annoying, bizarre exercises in failing to comprehend why the attacker's entire route changes the way it does. I will be writing Apple to get my money back. I will also add that the default speed is too fast, and the fast speed WAY too fast, and the casual difficulty is about as hard as you would ever want it. God forbid should you try medium. Lol. If you want a better tower defense, try Kingdom Rush. Unfortunately kingdom rush doesn't let you place towers as flexibly in locations you want - it's extremely limiting on locations. But it's WAY better than this idiocy these developers came up with. To the developers: you have a robot math software engineer game, that's ok and I'm not mocking it. But before you make a game and call it tower defense, get some advice on how everyone else's brain works - the overwhelming majority of people do not have the type of brain of the people who developed this game. 90% of people would not have a clue how to form a path around the bridge, in light of the bizarre aberrant behavior of the attackers route shown changing on the map. It's just incredible to me that this game is so highly rated.

Bought in a bundled with Field Runners 1. Field runners 1 seems to work perfectly however the play button on field runners 2 just makes a clicking sound and will not start the game.
Super fun!
