Amazing

Colin Robertson

Who knew it could be so easy to edit podcasts on a phone? Ferrite has useful features that aren't even in GarageBand on the Mac. ??

State-of-the-art iOS Software

Anthony Colangelo

Absolutely incredible software. Now with presets and precise control over settings, it can’t be beat on iOS. Ferrite has quickly become irreplaceable, after doing a complete podcast episode each week on my iPad Pro.

Phenomenal App

Wayne Hartman

This is one of those apps that should cost waaaay more than it does. Superb at recording, editing, and publishing.

Recording from everywhere

Just another guy named mike

Wow. I just wasted 3 hours filtering through several other apps trying to record well while im traveling. This app is amazing! So heres why its so good: the recording are each individualized and centralized to be tampered with however you want! So in other apps you record live tracks side by side. With buffering and limited to no adjusting that got annoying real fast. Here you click and drag to your hearts content! If you want to match some recordings then click play on one, hit record, and you will make a whole new track out loud while recording a separate one. Just import and align! It took me all of 10 minutes to decide i wanted to spend 10$ on the pro. Panning and volume control are free with 3 tracks. Now i just run my click track app in the background while recording and it doesn't interfere. In love.

Neat but not for precise multi track recording

BagpipeNut

Great free app for joining and editing tracks. Try it! Not for precise lining up of multi tracks. When I record one track then play it back while listening to previously recorded track, and the. Play them at the same time, they do not line up and there's no precise way to line them up.

This is very well done.

Tremendous. I've waited for this so long Bravo! Also, thank you for updating your product. This type of app is often left to wither on the vine. Update-Still love the app! Feature Request: Some precision with the "knobs" would be helpful. It's pretty tough to make small changes. Update-Still love the app! Feature Found: Sorry about that! Double tap the "knob"for precise settings. You folks are the best!

Almost Perfect

Ferrite has functions and commands that I expect to have in Adobe Audition, but for whatever reason, the 'Strip Silence' option has no counterpart that I can find in the desktop counterpart. Editing with gestures is a dream, and I can get through huge chunks of audio in a couple hours, since I don't have to multi-tap for most of the functions I use. However, a headache that keeps coming up is it keeps moving clips when I try to split them with a swipe. If there could be more of a threshold between start of a swipe and moving the clip, even by tens of milliseconds, that would be super helpful. Especially because most of my clip movements are done with ripple deletes, I think a toggle that will prevent moving clips by finger, or prevent clips from jumping tracks, could also solve the problem.

iOS only podcast producers must have tool

Awesome editing and fine tuning tool, I am using it for podcast editing. Perfect for putting together several sound channels and it's easy to apply effects like noise canceling per track. awesome!

Great recording app!

Liquid Soap Dispenser

I've not paid a dime yet for in-app purchases, but so far this free app is working great for podcasting. I use a Samson Go Mic via USB adapter, it's a great combo with this app. So quick and easy to record nice-sounding audio with these tools! I use it a lot for podcasting.
