This is a good lesson to read reviews before you buy. The different titles lead the buyer to believe the app has something to do with Star Trek sounds. Not so. Just a stupid bunch of tones. Worthless.

This application have nothing to do with the phrases on the dial. It is nothing but background noises. It is NOT what you think it will be. Do NOT hope that buying the full version will help!Addendum... Came back to make SURE you didn't buy this!!!!!

You pay a dollar for 16 relatively similar sounds. You can't mix them. And the 'about' is empty.

It's an ambient noise machine. The free version only has 3 varieties, but the third one is the ship's engine noise, which is awesome.

What a horrible app. Doesn't do anything. Apparently the developer is not a Star Trek fan. Because if he or she was there would be more rich content
