Firmware update

Updating the firmware is practically impossible to do so via developers instructions. Since developers unveiled their new model which connects via Bluetooth I noticed they simultaneously quit providing new updates to this currency models firmware. Any connection there? Maybe I shouldn’t update to the most recent firmware since it’s still two years old itself. Very displeased. Please provide a fix. I’m not the first to write a review concerning this very issue.

I like the functionality it gives me, but don’t like that I have to physically power cycle my well to access it. Why can’t you just add it to your home network like everything else?

I used this app to set up a sub drive 30 box today. It was very simple and easy to use. This will make installs and repairs so much quicker and easier to do. The only major improvement I can see necessary is to include a pressure readout and a way to adjust maximum and minimum pressure from the box/app instead of the pressure sensor. This would allow us to see every major piece of information necessary to our setup without worrying about the accuracy of pressure gauges. As someone who installs and repairs dozens of constant pressure systems this app is going to be my new favorite tool.

FRANKLIN ELECTRIC FECONNECT APP GREAT APP EXCEPT INSTRUCTIONS ARE LACKING/INERR WHEN UPDATING FIRMWARE! AFTER TRANSFER OF FIRMWARE UPDATE IS COMPLETE, RECYCLE SUBDRIVE30 POWER & WAIT UNTIL P9C IS SHOWN ON DRIVE DISPLAY, THEN RECYCLE AGAIN SO THE SYSTEM PRESSURE RETURNS TO DISPLAY & SUBDRIVE ACTUALLY BOOTS UP THE FINISHED FIRMWARE UPDATE. ELSE P9C WILL BE ON THE DISPLAY UNTIL THE COWS COME HOME, OR UNTIL YOU RECYCLE/REBOOT THE SUBDRIVE A 2ND TIME! I DON'T THINK CLICKING OK MEANS ANYTHING OTHER THAN RETURNING YOU TO HOME. IF YOU CLOSE THE APP, AFTER REBOOTING/RECYCLING SUBDRIVE POWER TWICE, & RECONNECT IN SETTINGS TO THE DRIVE VIA WIFI, IT WILL DO THE SAME. PERHAPS CLICKING OK AFTER FIRMWARE UPDATE WILL RECONNECT THE PHONE TO THE SUBDRIVE, SAME AS DOING IT IN SETTINGS. NOT SURE, SINCE I REINSTALLED FIRMWARE 3 TIMES TRYING DIFFERENT THINGS UNTIL I REALIZED THE FIRMWARE UPDATE WAS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL THE FIRST REBOOT & TO BOOT UP THE FINAL COMPLETION REQUIRED A 2ND REBOOT OF THE SUBDRIVE. FRANKLIN ELECTRIC, PLEASE CORRECT THE FIRMWARE COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS TO REFLECT A 2ND REBOOT/RECYCLING OF SUBDRIVE POWER IS REQUIRED TO ACTUALLY BOOT FROM THE FIRMWARE UPDATE. בובי
