PRICING & PACKAGING
FreshBooks for iOS requires a FreshBooks account. When signing up for a FreshBooks account, you will have a 30 day unlimited trial to use all features on the mobile and web application. Once the trial expires and if you have more than 1 active client, you will be required to upgrade via iTunes to one of the following subscription packages:
Sprout ($9.99/month): up to 5 clients
Seedling ($19.99/month): up to 25 active clients
Evergreen ($29.99/month): unlimited active clients, 1 staff member
Mighty Oak ($39.99/month): unlimited active clients, 5 staff members
Your subscription will renew automatically every month and the payment will be charged to your iTunes Account within 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period. You can turn off auto-renewal by changing the option in Account Settings (iTunes) after the purchase. No cancellation of your subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.
If you upgrade your account within the trial period, any unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited.

Crashes when attempting to launch

It simply won’t open. I’m on the latest iOS, and I assume I have the latest update of this app, but it just will not launch.
Cloud based creates issues

Unfortunately the updated version won’t function when cell and WiFi aren’t available. I used an older version for three years with no issues. I recently updated my phone and installed a new version of FreshBooks. The new version has zero functionality when my phone is off line. This is a major problem.
Great app, just needs minor fine tuning

I love the app and I love FB. I just have one minor complaint. When you tap “add line” on an invoice you can only scroll through the entire list, there’s no alphabet down the side for quick scrolling. This may not seem like a big deal, but I have A LOT of line options so creating an invoice easily becomes very tedious and time consuming for me.

I’ve only had one hiccup the past several months, and I’ve been using the app at least once a week. Keep it up! Great improvement over older versions.
Watch out for surprise billing increases!

The app functions well but since they got bought out, it’s very corporate. A sales guy called me saying my $45 was now $70 a month, no notice, no reason. I’ll be using another app next year.
Can’t minimize a paused time log

In the android version of the app, I can pause my clock, then back out of timekeeping to check other things on my Freshbooks account. In the iOS app, I must pause the clock to back out of an active time log without deleting that time log. Absolutely silly oversight. I’ve used this feature regularly on Android, though I never actually thought of it as a feature, merely something that of course the UI could do
Crashing 8/16/19

With this new update the app has gone down the tubes, every time I go in and out of the app it continually crashes while I’m tracking time. I hope this get fixed ASAP.
