Request for feature

JunkenMetel

As my previous two reviews indicate, I love this app. It is nearly perfect. But now I have a feature request: better tag management. I would happily pay for a "pro" version with this functionality, or pay an in-app fee to enable it. [Note to new users: start by tagging your files from the beginning; you'll be very glad you did months or a year or two later.] I finally figured out how to use tags as sort of folders to group my (by now) dozens and dozens of files. Now I understand that I can add tag(s) by clicking on either the info icon in the file view, or in edit mode, by clicking on The Save icon, and clicking on the little +tag link at the bottom of the popup dialog box. But now I need to be able to select multiple files in the File view, so I can tag them a whole bunch of them in a single operation. Two related tag management features: - the ability to sort or manually order tags as they are listed as "tabs" at the top of the File view. Filtering the list of tags shown would be beyond my wildest dreams. :-) - The ability to edit a tag in the File view, to either rename it globally, or delete the tag, thereby removing it from all the files to which it has been applied. "Deleting" a tag would not otherwise change any of the tagged files. However, the deleted tag would be removed from the tag list in the File view. I only feel the need to request these features because this app is so wildly useful. I use it so much, for so many things, that I have to organize all the files I've created! I just didn't realize how many, many files I have used this wonderful app to create. Please save me from myself!

Good but not great,

I can take quick notes but I can't accomplish simple asks like underlining, bolding, etc. My biggest problem is with Dropbox. I cannot upload to Dropbox even though I authorize access. This feature worked 6 months ago when I last used the program.

Thank you

Next game!

Great work! Succeeds where Apple aggressively ignores it's keyboard flaws. No more poking around trying to precisely place a cursor exactly within a word to change one letter while hoping my finger doesn't linger too long and open a multiselect that makes me start over again. Very intuitive and lets me write without spending half my time struggling with the "Apple Way" of keyboarding.

Needed

This is my go-to text editor, and has been mentioned many times here, it's key board is tops, except it inexplicably misses underline, italics & bolden. WTH! I bought a new iPad and could not find a way to transfer files within the app. Dropbox compatibility is very confusing. Lastly, the app needs updating to IOS9 for multitasking on my iPad Air II.

very clunky, not a good editor, okay but that is about it

I think that the intent was okay, but just like many other apps the people creating the product didn't focus on making a functional app but instead tried to make it quick and now it doesn't even work well with an physical keyboard. half the screen is black and you cannot see the file. it is pretty obvious this person or people did not try very hard.

Love it, but missing one key

gamerscul9870

I was going to give this a 5, but after some time of getting to look at how many keys this offered, there was one I haven't noticed. This isn't really a commonly used one or anything, but can there please be a slash / exponent key if it's possible? There's an exponent +, -, x, y, and all numbers, but not slash? might be best to do an exponent √ to while you're at it.

This is my prefered text editor

I've tried lots of text editors from the app store, this one is simply the best.

can’t use.

What apps does this feed? Notes? message? email?

Beats Apple at its own game.

The keyboard is what the Apple iOS keyboard should be. Sure it's not perfect, and could use some professional polish, but it's great for notes, messages, straight text docs and drafts. The keyboard alone makes it worth having.
