This cool app quickly identifies your location and lets you choose the nearest restaurant of your choice. You can scroll alphabetically through the different kinds of restaurants or quickly jump to a letter with an A-Z side panel.
When you select a listing, you can see the restaurant's exact location on the map, the address, telephone number, and the distance from where you are. You can call the restaurant directly or share the restaurant information with your friends by SMS, Email, Twitter or Facebook. You can also connect to Yelp to learn more about the restaurant, read and write reviews, and see photos!

This app seems like a great idea when traveling. It gives two options: search for the nearest location of a particular restaurant from a list or find the nearest restaurants to your current location. It includes fast food places like Wendy’s, some sit down chain restaurants like Applebee’s, and some non-chain restaurants. It would be more helpful to be able to search for restaurants in a particular city or zip code. The other problem I have with this app is that the list of restaurants is no where near complete. I scrolled down the list of restaurants and chose Panera Bread. It told me the nearest one was 26 miles away when I sitting in front of one and had passed one 5 miles down the road. The app would be a lot better if it allowed users to add restaurants.

Been looking for this exact kinda app! One thing I wish they'd add: HOURS! Some fast food places are open late, and some close early. They should put the hours on here!
