Black Mannequin...Can't Continue Game?

Game play has been ok and then where a woman usually stands there's a black mannequin in its place. Eyes blink, red lipstick and a smile. I click the blue bubble next to it, the one you click to see the clients so you can design for them to earn money and hearts, but it doesn't take me to the next page. I've tried contacting XMG Studios about both Fashion Star Life and Fashion Star Boutique. I haven't received a response at all. It's like no one cares about these games anymore. UPDATE 8/24: I deleted the app which should have been synced via iCloud which I made sure of. Well, anytime you delete this app even if you have it set to iCloud it will start you all over again. Sighs...I'm not happy.
