I’m really torn about this game. I love all the decorations, farm animals and pets. They are some of the best of any games that are out there. I’ve been playing for a year and 6 months now and up until the last few events, have really enjoyed it. I love to do the events of any game, I love the challenge. And I have enjoyed most of the ones that this game has provided. But I have started seeing a trend over the last few months that I feel is very concerning. In order to complete events to win the prize or prizes, you have to spend money (and sometimes a lot of it). They have been having one event after another, most of which last 10-12 days. You progress along just fine in the earlier days as long as you are diligent and work hard. Then, you get to the last few days and it is almost impossible to progress. Again, without spending real money, you cannot succeed...well, unless you are lucky. They call these “luck” events. What a pile of horse crap. They have a forum where you can voice complaints, but obviously Storm8 does not look at these forums or if they do, they don’t care what their customers think. I’m willing to spend money on a game, since someone has put in a lot of effort to create something that is fun. I spend money on expanding my farm, buying animals, upgrading my barn or silo, decorations, etc. Good for them that they should be paid and I’m all willing to do that. But to create an event and pull the rug out from under the players in the last couple of days is very mean. I haven’t decided if I’m going to even continue this farm or just say bye bye.

I have been playing this game for over 7 years now. The game has improved a lot. You can communicate with others and make friends. Here’s the note: there should be more expanding, people with higher levels are also complaining. I can’t add other animals onto my land due to my land space being all taken. That’s all I have to say. Great game. ❤️?

Just made 9 deliveries...didn’t get a single mushroom spore for the current challenge. Also harvested bacon 4 times today, and got 1 mushroom for my trouble. It’s IMPOSSIBLE to win the challenges without spending a ton of money...because the game doesn’t give you what you need to do so. It’s completely rigged. Spend money or lose—those are your choices.

I have 8 silver bells but there is only 1 item to use it on. Can you add more silver bell prizes? Also... it’s impossible to win these quests unless you are playing every hour of every day or spend real money. Disappointing.

I’m roughly three days away from filing a complaint with the BBB on Storm8! My daughter and I downloaded the app when I got my iPhone 7 in January and we built up our farm, made several in app purchases. Apple runs an update and just like that the software is no longer compatible ?. I went into an Apple store attempt to rectify the situation and I was told to contact the developers ( who’s paying me to do all that?) which was an act of God and if I remember correctly they never got back to me. I download this game to try to rebuild the farm my baby girl loved so dearly, we were adjusting pretty good, but I had to change out phones so I ran a back up got my new phone and my farm has miraculously disappeared yet again. I’m writing Storm8 with little to no guidance and I am at the tail end of my 5-7 day wait, however my credit card was charged today for a $5.23 in app purchase ??? I’m not even using the app, I don’t have access to my farm and I’m not in the business of giving interest free loans. They’re not getting off so easy this time. The game is okay but you have to spend money otherwise it gets really boring really quick. I found better things to do on a Sunday rather than waiting to see if a tree would drop a leaf or some maple syrup ??

It's a great game and it's really fun, but it'd be nice if there more a few more buildings. It would also be nice if we were allowed more of one kind of building, especially the windmill and chocolatier, as they are used very often. Chocolate is used in many of the other buildings and flour and sugar as well.

If you don't spend actual money on the game IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to win a challenge. No matter how hard I try unless I would buy diamonds I will never win a challenge. I get right up to the end then lose because I've run out of time and the challenge is unattainable. The prize is always offered in the store but for a 100+ diamonds. The only way to get that many is to buy them. I'm beginning to hate this game.
