Simple and elegant

Unlike many similar countdown apps, Daybox looks and acts like a genuine Apple product. Setup was a no-brainer, with no learning curve or odd idiosyncrasies. You'd think a simple countdown timer would be one of the easier apps to create and sell, that is until you try buying one. And don't get me started on ugly...many of the apps look like ports from the 90's with bright pseudo "neon/LED" displays that are straight out of the movie "Wargames". I was surprised at the number of countdown app that don't show the remaining days directly on the app's icon, instead you have to tap the app to open it and then see the remaining days. It's true many apps allow setup of multiple countdowns, but they should allow you to set up preferences as to which countdown is displayed on the app's icon.

The app is simple and beautiful, what it must be. Good. I would love if you can adjust the time to be in days (current) and others like hours, minutes, seconds, or months, etc. In apple watch it would be awesome to have complications, the icon in front, where the main cover countdown could be shown here.

I love this app. Its convenient and helpful. Wish they would make the number shown on the screen outside the app update without opening app (does sometimes just not always). Something that would be good to add is maybe let us use pictures from our own photo library? Thanks for a great app!!!!
