Love this game! So fun, even if you haven’t read the 8th book. Double thumbs up. I play this with my brother because he hasn’t read all the books. I just turn my iPad away when there is a spoiler question! This app is the best! Maybe you could add updates for more question though... I’ve tried Harry Potter spells, and I haven’t read Fantastic beasts. Please read this. And thank you so much for replying to my email. I love you guys! Thank you so much. ??? ???

So it is awesome and all but it said what was the first centaur Harry met IT SAID random names and Rowen or something and THATS NOT IT ITS FIRENZE... so can u just fix that? Also please put more options in menu so I can do more stuff?Pls pls pls fix some stuff and it would be PREFECT! oops I meant perfect sorry

One of the questions asked “who is Lily and James Potter secret keeper?” I know for certain it was Sirius Black which was one of the options. When I clicked on Sirius it said it was false and it was Peter Pettigrew. After that I was very concerned because I knew it was in fact Sirius Black, so to make sure it was true or not I got the third books and looked it up. I was correct! On exactly page 205 in chapter ten The Marauders Map it says exactly, “So is Black the Potters’ Secret-Keeper himself? whispered Madam Rosmerta. Naturally, said Professor McGonagall. “ Now I know that I’m correct. Signed, A Harry Potter Superfan, age 10.

First just let me say what a fantastic app this is! Second I completely disagree with one of the reviews on this thing! Either the person who wrote it has never read a Harry Potter book or they just wanted to write a review and happened to pick this app to do it (probably both).

I really like the quiz but a few of the questions make no sense. Like one of the questions are"Who was the first person to escape from Azkaban?". And in the third book'Prisoner of Azkaban'Sirius Black escapes from Azkaban, but another answer is Barty Crouch jr..So I click Sirius Black but it tells me that Barty Crouch jr. escaped first. But if you are a real can you would know that he escaped in the fourth book.

I have played this and the questions are top notch. There are some designed to trick you. That’s the point. To the review posted on January 13: SPOILER ALERT So I just got some of the questions that this other person said were incorrect. HE IS INCORRECT AND THE APP IS ACCURATE. Dear ‘Alpaca fluff’: I don’t think you understand the plot of Harry Potter as much as you think you do. You said Sirius was the Potters secret keeper. Peter Pettigrew was absolutely their secret keeper. You are wrong, not the App. Siriuswas the obvious choice, and who they were going to pick. The Potters decided, however that Sirius would be too obvious, so they gave the honor to their less-capable friend. The friend they thought nobody would think of. Except, Peter had already become a Death Eater. So, he runs off and tells Voldemort that he knows where the Potters are, hoping this will get him into the inner circle (Voldemort has been looking for baby Harry because of the prophecy). So, if the Potters HAD chosen Sirius, Voldemort wouldn’t have been able to find the Potters, and the events of the books would have been changed completely. It might have been ‘Neville Longbottom and the Sorcerer’s Stone’. If you don’t get that last part, you need to re-read Order of the Phoenix and get up to speed on the self-fulfilling prophecy. You also said the app incorrectly said that Barty Crouch Jr. escaped Azkaban first and that you thought it was Sirius. Well, this app deserves 5 stars, because that kind of question is designed to trip us casual fans. Let me explain to you why you got confused. There is sometimes a difference between the actual chronological order of the story, and when things are revealed to the reader. You are confusing the two. Yes, Sirius is the first person that the reader learns has broken out of Azkaban. We learn this in the third book. In the fourth book, we learn that Barty Crouch Jr. was smuggled out of Azkaban by his father and mother. If you read the books then you should know it was only because his mother was very ill that they were able to switch the two and allow Barty Jr. to return with Barty Sr. instead of the mother, leaving her in Barty Jr.’s place. This was REVEALED to the reader and Harry in the fourth book. This does not have anything to do with when it TOOK PLACE. It occurred YEARS BEFORE the fourth book, therefore years before the third book, therefore BEFORE SIRIUS ESCAPED. The third question you thought was incorrect also tricked you. The twins are definitely the first ones that comment on Harry’s scar. Harry heard them talking to Mrs. Weasley on the platform while he is already seated on the train. Mrs. Weasley scolds the twins and ‘forbids [them] to ask him” about the scar. So, all three of your example have you in the wrong. Surprised you didn’t get a response from the developers. JUST BECAUSE YOU GET A QUESTION WRONG DOESNT MEAN THE APP IS FLAWED. IT MEANS YOU GOT TRICKED BECAUSE ITS A GOOD APP. Basically, get off your high horse because you are not nearly as knowledgeable about Harry Potter as you think you are, because you have misunderstood some very fundamental plots. Next time, just review the game and don’t get into the story too much, buddy.
