Crazy how fast you can learn your ancestry

My parents and family spent decades doing genealogy, it used to take a lot more time and dedication. This app has helped bring genealogy into the 21st century and made learning personal ancestry an easily accessible, fun thing to do. We were never sure what became of one of my great-uncles (I thought he died young) and now I know everything, thanks to military service records and census records. I feel like it’s really honoring him that we’ve got his story straight. We’ve also been able to actually confirm stories our grandmother told us about life in their small town and we’ve been able to piece it all together, especially through historical phone books available online. I was always told that my greatgrandfather was a blacksmith so seeing his name and occupation in the phone book in the 1930s is incredible. I never even knew that existed. You can really just jump on in, whichever branch of the family needs work done, find out your history, get ready for temple work, attach suggested documents, it’s truly amazing. I’ve updated my review to five stars, my last review I gave three stars because the app kept crashing. That’s been fixed and I really appreciate it.

I love that I can work on family history while on the go when I have a few minutes here or there. The Task section is my favorite feature but I also enjoy looking at the maps the app has of where my ancestors were born, lived, and died. Whenever I have a memory of a deceased relative, I can easily open the app and record it.

I can’t find any of my family, despite knowing all information. App is not very user friendly. Disappointed.

I love that I can do family history on the go with this app. Yes, I’ve sat for hours at home using my laptop or PC and that can be physically draining. So, I really enjoy that I can break down my efforts into shorter sessions throughout the month using this app when I’m out and about my routine. Thanks for this app!

Difficult

So far I am finding it difficult to enter and clear information I may have mistyped. Also to clear a hint once I have verified the information is crazy, I have work on trying to clear one hint for an hour, maybe I’m stupid but not bad!

I use this app all the time and usually it works well. This weeks update has really messed up a lot of functions. Please fix a.s.a.p.

I love this app, I have tried every family app out there. This one is the best, first of all it doesn’t cost money, and it is simple. The bottom line is, I LOVE THIS APP
