Not as easy to play as previous version! If you lose the first round can't use game tokens for fast money anymore. And the 'watch a video' option doesn't work - hangs the game. Harder to win. Ring back older, less glitzy version!!!

My wife had me download this app so we could play together. I downloaded it and challenged her to a game. Immediately after closing the app (play is asynchronous), I started to get bombarded with messages that “A friend has faced your challenge and played their turn. Come see the final results!” I can see my wife sitting next to me and she doesn’t even have her phone in her hand. I have challenged her exactly once, yet I currently have 14 alerts from the game. That is bad enough, and for a great game I could ignore it (disable notifications) and move on. Unfortunately this game is mediocre at best. I have played various versions of Family Feud games since I was a kid in the early 90’s, and other than online functions, nothing has changed. If your answer doesn’t pop up after typing in 2 letters, your answer will be wrong. Not only that, but it is very particular about what is a right answer. Multiple times I have typed in an answer and gotten an X when what I was trying to input was on the board. Add in a short timer, and it just leads to more frustration. If my wife didn’t want to play it with me, I wouldn’t play it at all. By the way, since starting to write this review I have received more alerts. I am now up to 18. This is more annoyance than game.

Scam scam scam! Don’t waste your time! It literally cheats every chance it gets. I played one round and got almost all of the questions correct so I played another game and that same round came up and none of my previous answers were correct. Complete joke. Run away!!!!

I got all the top answers for the final round and still didn’t make 200 points! How does that make sense. So, I didn’t get my bonus points. And, I gave an answer of what you might find in a student’s desk. I said “paper.” It buzzed wrong answer. Yet, one of the correct answers was “papers.” Weird.

For the past few days this app has been frozen on the launch of me opening this app. It’s so annoying.

The game is clearly rigged. Whenever they have specials like "earn double xp" or "tournaments are 20% off" they bring out questions you've never seen before that you would have absolutely no way of guessing like "what words do children mispronounce the most?" Answers like spaghetti and grandma and school are outrageous to me. Kids mispronounce a lot of words, they are kids. But like I said, you never see those questions until there's a deal going on, so they purposely want you to lose. Also, the game must have glitched or its just being itself but when playing against others, it's clear those people are bots because how can two people from different tournaments answer the exact same questions? I got the exact same fast money questions on two separate rounds and these two different people answered EXACTLY the same way, phrases and all. Moral of the review: don't waste your money or your free time because the game will always win. It's not an actual game, but a scam.
