This app gives a daily bible verse and if you want more you can press the 'surprise me button' and it gives you randomly an awesome quote or another bible verse. It is ingeniously simple and provides just the right amount of seasoning without any distracting elements.

You can post a comment about a verse to Facebook from the app, but the verse doesn't appear. Also, when I tried to rate the app from within the app, a message appeared that indicated the app couldn't connect to the App Store (I'm posting this review from the App Store itself). Looks good on the surface, though.

Sometimes I need a boost, something to flip a bad-mood-in-the-making. This Faith Builders app does that for me. Quick snippets of Biblical verse and quotes from various authors. It arrives daily and has a favorites feature, so you can look back over your list, if you have more than a minute!
Not worth the $$$$

I found this app really lacking. There are many many more better devotional apps that are absolutely free.
