Fair can run in three different modes so you can choose where to apply blocking:
- Block All Sites: apply blocking rules on all sites, no exceptions.
- Block All But Whitelisted Sites: block on all sites except on those added in your whitelist.
- Block Only Blacklisted Sites: block only on sites in your blacklist.
With Fair you can also decide what to block:
- Block Ads (banners, video ads, text ads,...)
- Block Tracking spies
- Block Social Buttons
And make your own white and black lists, so you can decide where to show and block ads on a site basis and customize the blocking behavior to your needs.
Fair is shipped with a set of blocking rules and is ready to work. Anyway this rules can be updated anytime from the main screen (find the update button beneath the logo) so you always have the latest rules and take advantage of other users feedback.
