Well now

I played the free portion since there were no reviews yet. Incredibly short. IF I buy it I'll write more later.

Another fab game from this company. They are the ultimate plateau for this genre. Have never been disappointed with any of the games purchased. Please keep up your high standards as they are so fantastic and appreciated.

Super

Which one?

As always, Artifex Mundi came up with yet another game that is complete! Bravo!

Well, after a very long wait for a new release from this company, I have to say that I did not enjoy this game at all. It does not have the quality that we normally see from this developer. The storyline for me was boring and just done in a bizarre way. It was extremely short, with no extras. Not very many hidden object scenes and very poor if we were given instructions on the puzzles. Character acting, I thought was poor & sorry to say I just don't have anything good to say about it. Money wasted. KdBoots ( Being generous with 2 stars) Hope we see a better game soon and not as long of a wait.

Good Game

I am enjoying this game. Not lots of back and forth. Other reviewers say this is a short game so I may be sad when I am finished. For the intro price , well worth it in my book.

This was a good game, but I would not have wanted to pay the full price for it. It did have a lot of the bells and whistles we like, but it wasn't very long and there was no bonus adventure. You could customize your settings. There was a diary with tasks regularly updated. The graphics consisted of beautiful Parisian scenery. There were tarot card collectibles, and illusory ones as well. I didn't waste time on those. You have a helper named Arthur, who is a little boy. Inventory was labeled and there were complex items to assemble. There was a marked teleport map and loading was instantaneous between locations. The HO scenes had variation and I thought most of the puzzles were fun. I liked inventory usage, because you didn't have to drag items; you could just tap on the tool and then tap where you wanted to use it. I deducted a star for length and also because the graphics, although pretty, were not as sharp and crisp as they could have been. In addition you could tell that English was not the primary language of the developer. The grammar, vocabulary and syntax were way off, and it was slightly humorous! However this was a good little time waster and enjoyable to play. Artifex Mundi, can you please give us a nice long game with a bonus adventure? Because if you do, we will buy! Lynxie sends ❤?? to her amazing DTE, especially KimTwilight and Izzyoc for informing us of this cute little gem of a game!

It was ok... short and no bonus game

I love the story, the graphics and the mini games. I thought there could be better instructions for the mini games and some were much too easy. The game play went fast and the story was similar to them all. Very sad there was no bonus game at the end. Those are my favorites. It was an ok game. Definitely expected more from artifex mundi, he's my fav!

Very short

Had a few interesting puzzles, but it was really a short game. I've come to expect so much more from this company. This almost felt like it was made 5 years ago. I'm glad I bought it on sale, but I really wish I wouldn't have spent any money on it. I hate to leave a review like this for such a great company, this was just really disappointing.
