Experience what it's like to pilot an F18 and land on a navy aircraft carrier.
This isn't a typical flight simulator, it's a pilot simulator. Our engineers are dedicated to delivering an ultra realistic F18 simulator.
Every aspect of landing on an aircraft carrier is in this simulator, including multiple arresting cables, pilot nav system, cockpit chatter, and more.
The advanced physics system results in spectacular crashes. In some cases, failed landings are the most rewarding. Upload your crash replays directly to Youtube or save them on your device.
Think you can master landing on an aircraft carrier? Try your skills at Night, guided by the vis system, carrier lights, cockpit chatter, and the light of the moon.
No two landings are ever the same. See if you can rise the ranks of the leader board.
Features:
- Console quality graphics
- Day and night modes
- Full approach and quick approach modes
- Advanced crash physics system
- Replays from any angle
- Multiple camera views including fully modeled cockpit
- Fully modeled aircraft carrier including arresting cables, vis system, radar, etc.
- Landing grading system measures weight on the wheels, distance to center line, arresting cable touch points, etc.
- Leader boards and rankings
It's not without it's faults but overall this is a nice change of pace for the app store. I haven't put this one down since I got it. Steep learning curve, be warned
I love this game, but is there an easy mode? Wire snaps even after I apply break.
The aircraft doesn't handle well. The wires seem to break a lot, even if you hit them at near stall speed. The cockpit view is bad. Just isn't very fun. I hoping they fix these things, because it does have potential to be a good game.
I've had a lot of fun and grief with this game . It's certainly one of the best Flight Simms being offered to players. Some minor flaws throughout the flight profile which I'm sure will be worked out in future updates. All in all .....Great Game.
The game is mildly amusing, but if you are looking for realism look elsewhere. The flight controls are sluggish. The views are not helpful. You either have to use the "chase" view which isn't helpful or an unrealistic cockpit view where the ADI ladder is backwards and banks the opposite direction of the horizon. The controls are difficult to manipulate while flying. The cockpit chatter is absolute nonsense. Don't be fooled by the decent reviews if you are a hardcore carrier landing fan.
Is definitely a difficult short game. Has a few bugs that still need to be worked out. Almost every time I pause the game, when I resume, the plane explodes in mid-air. Every single time I land, and hit the thrusters like it says you should when you land, I still get 0 points for it. I don't think I've had 1 landing where the tower didn't say "abort" so I've gotten used to them saying it every time. Hopefully in the near future they will add different planes and maybe different landing scenarios.
The game flow is simple and easy to grasp, however the interface somewhat gets in the way
It's junk! You can never land the plane. I'm always told abort...abort. I have proper air speed and the pickle is dead center. I land anyway after being told to abort and I break the cable! The game is bs I want my money back or fix the bugs!
