- Displays Photo Information
In the photo thumbnail list screen it is easy to check information such as the data and time the photo was taken, the vertical and horizontal size of the photo, as well as the file size.
- Displays Photo Locations on a Map
The location a photo was shot will display as a pin on a map for photos that were taken with location services activated.
- Displays Exif Information
The Exif information saved in the photo file can be shown. (Brightness at the time it was shot, flash settings, focal length, etc.)
The thing I like about this one is the info shows from the main view. You don't have to open the individual picture and then click a separate button to see the info. You can see it all at a glance. This saves me a lot of headache, and I haven't seen any other exif viewers that do that.
I like it, unlike some others it shows the EXIF data in a nice table you can easily copy and paste to a separate text file. I would have given it 5 stars if it allowed one to pick the basemap being used- if you are on a trail or in a park, the base map only shows that you are in a blank area. If it had a choice to plot the info on Google Earth, it would be a 5 star app for sure!
Viewing EXIF info is hit and miss. Albums will show with zero photos but there are dozens of files in the album. Touchscreen is response is inconsistent. Deleting it from my iPad.
I rarely ever use it, but when I do, I'm not greeted with a bunch of welcome back, please give us money messages. Just the same thing I saw last time. One banner ad on the top. Scrolling is twitchy, I'm assuming because it's not caching the file data and has to find it every time. I don't mind though, because I know what I'm looking for, and I don't just scroll through my pics in this app.
