Great job !

This is probably the most underrated tennis app in the store. From player placement to the angle of the shot and sounds of the game this is a very realistic game of tennis and very addictive. With real players and real tournaments it really gives this a good feel to it. Don't get me wrong, you are going to get beat down for a while until you get the hang of where to place your player and how hard to hit the ball, but once you get the hang of it, wow, very fun. Can you make your way from ranked #512 in the world to #1 like Rafael Nadal ? If you are a tennis fan give yourself a gift and get this app. Don't get frustrated at first just learn how to play and you will not regret the purchase. The only thing that would make this better is multiplayer matches. Have fun.

Worst game ever

Cool but hard

The learning curve on this game is really high. The initial players are too good and I started out losing every point. I'm improving and actually had one player at deuce and then advantage several times before ultimately losing. Of course, the problem is that this was one single game out of several in the set. I haven't even come close to winning a set let alone a match. That said... I'm still trying. It is a cool game, but it is really really hard.

Crap App!

Gameplay is terrible. Not responsive, laggy, cheap as heck. Waste of a dollar.

Difficult at first, but worth it

I love sport games that allow me to have a personal career rather than just controlling Rooney, etc, so I thought this sounded like my cup of tea (or Pimm's as the case may be). I can understand the 1-star ratings, as it is difficult but if one perseveres one might find oneself shouting "Come On!" after every thrilling point. Initially, I just rushed in without reading the instructions properly and couldn't do anything but lob the ball which didn't let me past the first round of the tournament, so I checked the instructions and had another go, things improved but I didn't get very far at all. I was ready to give it away. Then I realised that I could, and should, move before they hit the ball back, which took some getting used to but makes perfect sense. Same, when they are preparing to serve. I still don't always hit the ball where I'd like to, but the fact that that really irritates me suggests that I'm really treating every shot as though it is my career. I've since won a couple of tournaments, albeit against nobodies, but it feels like I'm improving and, just as importantly, it feels like I'm actually thinking like I'm really playing tennis - where should I be standing for the next shot. It'd be better if there was prize-money, so I could judge the tournaments better, and if I could get access to all those stats the TV shows me through-out the games and tournaments. A head-to-head record, first serve percentage, past winners, etc, but that'd really just be icing. The gameplay is the main thing, and it's fantastic!

Very good

I really appreciate the realism in this game, but there should be an optional lower difficulty because it gets frustrating.

Addictive!!!

Hard at first. Just one more game! I made it to the round of 16 a few times. My son made it to a semi-final! Not fancy in terms of graphics...but awesome gameplay! It's crazy fun...a steal at $0.99!

Love this game!

It is hard at first, but you definitely get used to it. Play it everyday and I've had it for months!
