I’ve used evoice off and on for a few years switching between this service and an answering service because I have a part time business at night for a holistic practice and a full time career. I have a landline for my practice that forwards to the evoice #. I now have an admin assistant that answers and returns my calls from evoice and that rings on both my cell line and the phone I gave my assistant when I’m working during the day she picks up and when it rings at night Or weekends I answer the calls. I also love the text feature when I want to contact clients without having to use my own cell # so can separate my life from business. I also like how you can record your own message and find music through other tool you can save download and upload to evoice. I have a custom message to give info to callers when we can’t pick up and other details. Yes at times it can be a bit sluggish it but if you delete the app then reinstall it often works and they update their apps at time to improve.

We ditched the actual phone for this virtual message only service. EVoice has done exactly what they promised- to properly port the number from Verizon wireless, and to have a service that is efficient and easy to use. We found them through their sister site, MyFax, which we have been 5* satisfied with for over six years now. Perfect for us. Highly recommended.

The evoice service is often down, customer service is unhelpful. We have been having ongoing issues with calls not connecting sometimes that has been costing us a lot of lost business. Customer service can not seem to find the issue and blaming us for not knowing how to use their system. We don’t have this issue with any other providers but evoice. I am warning you DO NOT sign up for evoice!

If I could give no stars to this app I would. Evoice is a company built around a unique phone service. Two years ago when we started using them they were great. Last 6 months or so the service has deteriorated significantly. The app goes through periods where it is so slow as to be useless. Calls are dropping. Numbers are not populating. Now the contact list freezes the app and then crashes. Call tech support and if they can't replicate what is happening the problem doesn't exist. I have had enough. I am done with this app and I am done with this company.

RUN RUN RUN! Once they get your card they will always try to hit your account for some money. They will not stop no matter how many times I asked. They are frauds! I had to switch cards with my bank because they kept trying to steal from me even though I cancelled my free trial well in enough time. DO NOT USE THEM Update: 12/8/18 They still will not stop harassing me! and now they’re threatening to take me to collections for money I don’t owe them! Leave me alone! It’s been months of them trying to hit my account. Don’t believe me, I’ve been posting reviews from all my google accounts to make sure people know. I had closed my card get a new one due directly to them never stopping despite numerous times saying they would and lying saying they no longer have card information. I cancelled within 30 days which is now months ago and they’re still trying to hit the same card i cancelled months ago they claimed they didn’t have anymore. I still get notifications for that card. Now you’re threatening to go to collections well good luck! I’m about to change my number to stop the calls. I’m reporting you to every consumer and business review site I can.

Email to Evoice. Since I wasn’t allowed to speak to a supervisor when I asked. No one was available they said. Not to mention I emailed support weeks ago with no response. >I have sent emails and have called support with no help. I got the run around from a support tech in Hollywood, CA. I should have looked at the 3.0 star ratings about other business owners who are experiencing my same problems with the app and who live in other parts of the USA. I am in Texas and I am a technical person and the stuff this rep was saying made no sense. He said because I live in Texas I cant make calls out through the app? ? I can’t dial out, through the app key pad, to my clients. The call box displays a random 844 number when that was not what I dialed. When pressing okay just to see who I am dialing, it gives me a not working response. The tech rep who was on the phone with me from California, stated that it is just Texas 713(s) causing the problem. When I told him we are a nationwide and this also happens when we try to dial a 1800 number as well, he placed me on hold and came back with... it was not Evoices issue with the app. When I go over the reviews in the Apple Store, I see all the 1 star ⭐️ ratings commented. I am paying for this feature and if the app of Evoice is not up to speed, why not just say it to the customers and not have reps make a customer think we have the glitch. This tech person was going to give up before even testing. The App needs to be reworked and is falsely advertised.

It has been great to answer the phone after hours. It’s tricky to set it up, so I call customer service, and they did the set up for me. Also, I paid to have a Spanish and English answer message; it gives you a better and more professional presentation. Since then it has been working great for almost five years now.
