EverydayRacism is an immersive game played out over seven days, giving you an insight into the racial issues many face in Australia. Choose from one of three characters: a Muslim woman, an indigenous man or an Indian student, and for the next seven days you’ll receive simulated texts, tweets, images and videos as though you were them.
How will you respond? How will it make you feel? Can you handle it?
The game also gives you the opportunity to play as yourself, where you’ll witness incidents of racism and their effect on people around you.
The game has been produced by All Together Now in association with the University of Western Sydney, The University of Melbourne and Deakin University.
All Together now is Australia’s only national charity that has a sole focus of addressing racism.

I’m 99.9% sure that the creators of this app are way too filled with there own self righteous rhetoric to take my (or any negative comment) seriously but I will try. The best way to get rid of racism is to stop talking (obsessing) about it. I am a white American male who voted for Donald Trump; to some that makes me virtually evil. The truth is I could care less what someone’s race/gender/sexuality is, people are either cool or not...period. I represent the vast majority of white American republican males when I say this. I have no time for anyone who makes race/gender the central theme of their lives, it’s creepy and bizarre, you know that exactly the type of person who made this silly app.

No matter what ethnicity/race you pick it shows the same scenarios! This app needs to update itself. Also the fact that a lot of trolls are flooding the reviews shows who the “real” racists are since this app never mentioned anything about Trump. Yet the fact some Trump supporters are offended by this app shows they have a need to defend their racist attitudes.Fact is white terrorism is a threat in this country and the facts plus historical accuracy don’t care about your feelings.

I love the app and the ideas behind it. I would also like to give it five stars, but I can’t get the videos to play. I’ve been trying off and on for a while now. Please keep updating and trying to fix the bugs.

The app is good when it comes to raising awareness, but I have a few suggestions: give more reaction options, and after we choose tell us what would have been the best choice so we know how to react in real life.

This app makes fake scenarios to make white people look evil. Plus videos don't even work. Stop it and give up.
