Enjoyable, but...

AHHHHHHHHHHH--

Okay, so, the storyline is actually really fun and interesting! I really enjoyed playing through the story, but the boss battles are REALLY hard, if not impossible. The second phase of the Eternal has 80,000 HP along with really overpowered abilities. I think that if the abilities of the bosses were weakened just a little bit, the game would be a lot more enjoyable than it already is.

I’ve only had this game for a few days, but I’ve really enjoyed it so far! It crashes sometimes, which is annoying, but not enough to make the game less fun. (For me, anyway) Unfortunately, it won’t let me play anymore. The close button for the newsfeed won’t work. So I’m stuck in news forever. I’ve tried restarting the app and my device, but nothing worked. It’s a real bummer, ‘cause like I said, this game was super fun so far. I think there’s a way to backup data, but I hadn’t gotten around to it yet. If you want to keep your game, I recommend setting that up right away.

When I first saw this game a was so stoked for it but it costed money so I could never play it but now they made it free. And so far I’m not not disappointed one bit.

They really messed this up, if they didn’t hit the greed button this game could’ve grown its audience a hundred fold. I hope they read this and feel shame, what’s the point of making this when you will have to find a new job in several months. It’s so simple, do right by the players and you will have gainful employment. Idiots. Assholez. Greed. Don’t bother!!!!!!!!

I love the game so much the story is great and the way the characters actually hold the weapon you equiped them is spot on however the story can be boring sometimes and I think the game is too money hungry I mean I can’t even get enough soul stones to draw a 10x summon well when I started playing the game I got over 6000 soul stones just from the achievements and the offline story which gave me 100 soul stones whenever I finish a chapter and gave me 30 soul stones whenever I defeat an enemy but when I completed the offline story and started playing act 2 the game gave me 10-35 soul stones whenever I defeat enemies and gave me nothing when I finish a chapter so I went to the shop but I couldn’t purchase any because it was too expensive just for a small amouny of soul stone so maybe I could suggest to make like a page where you can exchange your load into soul stones just like in codashop

Great game despite its flaws

Although Evertale has its downsides such as the painfully low rate of drawing an SSR on a 10x gacha roll and the lack of scenery in Act 2 and 3, what makes it truly an immersive game is the free roaming feature and the captivating landscape that enhances the story in Act 1. PvP and gacha rolls only constitute a minute portion of the overall experience and SSR characters aren’t needed to have fun. The game is built around strategy which is a main factor that determines the outcome of a boss fight or PvP match. The reason why this game deserves 5 stars is because of the quality of the first Act. The second and third Acts are only small add-ons to the seemingly complete story.

You can’t even get a guaranteed SSR character half the time. All I ever get are weapons and weapons. They monetize this game to hell and back. Want to do a 10 summon? Spend about 25$ to do so!

Cannot get past first scene

The game looked good to play, I have and IPhone XR and cannot get past first scene, non of the IU shows up, cannot move or click anywhere. I have tried re downloading multiple times as well, no solution. Please fix.

I keep trying to close out the announcment menu that pops up when game loads and it wont close. I tried resetting the game multiple times and still nothing. I dnt know whats going on but id like to be able to plsy this app. Is anyone else having the same issue and if so could someone help me?

I have never written a review for a game, until now. Evertale has everything that made me fall in love with RPG’S as a kid. The storyline is very well written. The characters are funny and relatable, from the Pervy frog “Nagi” (reminds you of Brock from Pokémon), to the sweet and heartwarming “Rizette”. The top review states, some cutscenes are just Banter, with nothing to do with progressing the story. Well I have to say, I’ve loved every one. They let you in and allow you to get to know your characters better. They reveal more of their personality than you get from just the main storyline. I feel they help you get that much more invested in the characters. The summoning system is not ideal, HOWEVER, you get soul stones a lot, from quests, leveling up, logging in every day. So if you save up for a ten summon (Doesn’t take long), you make the most out of your free soul stones. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a true RPG.
