I've been looking for a way to monitor what my camcorder sees while I'm videotaping. It is very difficult to look at the tiny competence viewfinder from 10 feet away and know if you are Framing your video well. This app let me look at my camcorder output on my iPad even though it's an iPhone app. And I can record stop and zoom my camcorder. Fantastic!

If canon cameras and apps are like finely crafted samurai swords , them JVC cameras and apps are like cheap Chinese knockoffs that some dirty homeless person sells for crack. JVC should stick to VHS, it's where they're stuck technologically.

I think this app is super cool and convenient! This makes recording ball games so much easier. The only thing is game scoring won't show up and I really want to be able to use this feature.

Bought a camera model GZ-EX210BU. Advertised to work with this software. New version connects but does not control camera or allow other functions.

Hoping that the GX-EX355B and CU-PC1 pan cradle can record my child's play without having to hold the camera during the whole show. The AV jack needs to be set to pan cradle mode before the app shows the pan buttons. Other features such as wide angle/zoom, start/stop record, and even lighting work well. There is a bit of lag time and have yet to try it out in the field. Hopefully it will be responsive enough for some minimal panning. Direct wi-fi monitoring eliminates any need for an access point. Not sure how this will function a room full of other wi-fi devices.
