Strange set up

Shred the Axe

The game has excellent graphics, but the premise is strange. It literally takes a great deal of time to jump from where you’re at to where you need to go. Almost everyone I know goes afk during this time because it’s extremely boring during the traveling. However, when you finally get to where you’re going you may sit there for a few minutes til whenever you get to log back in, and like clockwork you’re going to be killed by some moron waiting there. Then you spend all your cash rebuilding. Don’t waste your time or money. The game is a setup for disaster eventually. It’s a very strange premise to make people sit there for up to 30 minutes to just travel.

In the Army and I love playing on my free time

This game is fun, be patient and definitely subscribe your time is all yours. You can do whatever you want on the game. A huge galaxy with endless opportunities. People to interact with. There is a learning curve but don’t be afraid to ask questions with players and engage in activities whenever your on. You don’t have to dedicate a lot of time to even enjoy the game. The graphics are amazing Gameplay phenomenal And the UI is really good too. The game is only getting better and better jkin while you can and reap the benefits.

Waste of time trying to play now

Spidyh20

Barely 2 months into launch, the DA devs have decided to ignore massive requests for ease of use options and instead decided to implement one of the most over powered, no skill required, unbalanced abilities from Eve Online. Bubbles. This was supposed to be the casual players version into Eve. Instead they’ve fast tracked one of the WORST aspects of EO into a fresh scenario. Bubbles are literally only a few hours old and nearly EVERY gate into/out of low-null is camped with these no skill required, no way to combat, no negative to operate void traps. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I played for 3 weeks, had a great time. Knew the dangers of low/null, was still able to navigate them and enjoy the game. Then they decide to implement bubbles. Literally after outcry to wait, the game is to new. Nope, let’s let all the as*holes go ahead and start ruining your experiences now. The Devs literally set the app on fire and walked away. If you want to enjoy a gaming experience, look elsewhere. Do NOT bother with this. There literally isn’t a point anymore.

A copy of eve online with all the same problems

John Briden

Initially started as a more casual less annoying eve online variant, but the devs are adding all the same annoying features that eve online has to this game, on top of bugs that can instantly cost you a lot of progress (money), and some fundamental changes to how ship equipment works that wrecks the game/ship balance even more and favors p2w very strongly (duh...surprise).

Beautiful Trash

You are required to spend hours and hours farming or ratting or mining to build a ship that can be destroyed in 2 minutes. You can lose days weeks and months of investment in a second. Stay away! Waste of time like many other games in the App Store. It’s a total money grab if you don’t invest your time and I mean it by saying weeks and months! Gamer for 20+ years. Don’t waste your time and money.

It started fantastic, and quickly deteriorated.

Upon the game’s initial release, it was a truly a breath of fresh air. It was a fun, complex and relaxing game. However, it quickly turned into the Eve Online PC version. It is not mobile friendly anymore and hasn’t been since about mid-September 2020. NetEase continues to add game breaking additions to the game without implementing any counters. Most of the game is inaccessible due to recent additions into the game. Stay away. As of Oct 31, 2020, the game is worth staying away from until these major changes revert back to a mobile friendly sense.

Greedy Microtransactions

Goobawhoba

Seriously this company is pulling the same stuff Fallout 76 did, first sale/Halloween event and immediately everything is 50% but only $120. For skins?? Come on, even the main EVE Online game isn’t that greedy. The game has a lot of work to go before it’s anything close to spectacular. Love it but hate it.

"Do what you want", "player run"

SteveJones

When people say you can do what you want, what they mean is this game is a gank-fest like open world PvP WoW, minus NPC except the few guards, the terrain is replaced by a star field, lose everything you carry on death, all quests are run to other side of the map and either kill all the space murlocs, or loot fifty resource nodes. You can grind, and get ganked. You can mine, and get ganked. You can run in any direction for hours, and you will get ganked. But this is no FPS, respawn and jump into the fray, this is MMORPG-like as in it will take you many many many hours to get things back again. You lose everything you carry. That's all this game is, run around and kick other players in the balls, in space. Make players feel invested enough so that getting kicked in the balls really hurts, in space. You're not a pirate, you're just PvP flagged a few minutes. It's that shallow. "Player-run", as in use your imagination. And it looks pretty.

Terrible and buggy implementation

This game is extremely alpha and should never have been released. It is filled with gameplay bugs, terrible customer service, and an outright egregious monetary system used to train skill points. I would never recommend anyone play this game.
