The adds defeat the purpose

Just offer an add free version for whatever charge, but stop playing meaningless adds. I have been using this app for years, but for now I am deleting it. Will check back in a few months.

I honestly love the Eurosport app, had it for years and as a sports news app, it’s awesome. Love the reports and the articles they write. But the ads are really starting to get on my nerves, to put it plainly. Especially as I don’t know of an option to pay for the app to remove adds!! Give me a premium option or remove the ads, thank you!

30 Second forced ads ruin great content

Please find a different way to fund your content. I would pay a $1 a month to not be forced to wait 30 seconds for a banner I can’t remove or an X close button so hard to touch I am forced to go to an ad I really don’t want to see and that has absolutely zero relevance to me. Your ad policies are egregious and not adding to a great user experience and ruining access to generally great content. I would give you at least 4 stars if you fixed this.

After 5 years I deleted this app. The ads are not removable and no x appears after a period of time. You killed the golden goose. Used to be great... now just a memory.

This used to be one of the best Apps for sports/soccer news, however, it is no longer the case. It it incredibly difficult just to launch the App due to ads on the launch page. The ad page on launch of the App is stuck 90% of the time due to certain ads. There are certain ads that require you to close and open the App multiple times before it allows you to continue using the App. It is incredibly frustrating having to go through a long process just to be able to use the App. It’s gotten to a point that it’s not worth it anymore. I’ll be looking for alternative service.

The ads make this app almost completely unusable. I used to love the Eurosport app! It has great articles mixed in with a lot of baseless transfer rumors, but it was still fun. Now I can’t close the ads, which pop up the second I open the app, so I can’t use it anymore. I’m uninstalling and looking for a sports news app that actually works.

Eurosport used to be a very good app, easy to navigate. For a few months it has an issue and this is because of the ads they add to the content. Half of the time, the ad pop up once you open the app, and there is no way to close it ! The cross is not available to tap ! So you wait forever and the app doesn’t disappear. Only thing to do, close the app, remove it from the opened app, and open it again hoping that the ad will be different !!! Ridiculous please fix it !!!!!

I had this app for the last 7 years on various devices. However recently the ads have gotten out of hand. There are too many and sometimes the app freezes after the I exit out of apps. Every time I use the app either it freezes or too many ads pop up. It’s shame because it was my go to app.
