I love the other games from this company, but this one was the worst one I have ever had. It did not feel like it was reality. It was a cartoonish version of history.

I’ve played Easy Inc.’s games for years now and have thoroughly enjoy them. This series in particular has always been my favorite. With that said, this game has really fallen short of its predecessors. European War 3 was arguably the peak of the series and maybe was the best strategy game Easy Inc. has put out. You could lead your nation of choice through a campaign driven conquest of the world, win World War One with almost any nation in Europe, or even play 3v3 multiplayer with friends. European War 4 showed significant promise but the draw backs of the new map system needed to be fixed. Then European War 5 came out. It isn’t a terrible game compared to many other strategy games but it’s obviously a step back from its predecessors. It seems like the games is trying to be to many different things at once. It has concepts from all of Easy Inc.’s best strategy games in it but in the end they don’t really mesh well. I get that the developers are trying to diversify this from the World Conqueror series but the previous entries to this series have been extremely fun and different enough from the World Conqueror series for me to buy both. So in conclusion, I’d wait for the next European War to come out or go back to a older entry in the series if you want to invest significant time in these games.

So I have everything I need to upgrade to the 4th era but it won't let me. I have all the materials, I'm above the level needed, but I can't upgrade still. It has this lock over it like I'm missing something, maybe I am but it isn't obvious to me. I'd love to progress in the game.. Please fix... I love the game and would hate for it to be ruined by this...

This game is a lot of fun, especially the different playing modes. However, there is a glitch where you cannot advance to the discovery age. I am at level 40 but it thinks that I have not reached the level 35 requirement.

This is the best of the easy tech games this far in terms of scope. I truly look forward to advancing through the campaign and am having fun in empire mode as well. However, it would seem to me that if a scenario's successful completion requires survival and protection of the leader of an ally, that the AI should be better about that leader's ability and willingness to defend himself. In Scenario 3 of the Wallace campaign, success is contingent upon Wallace's surviving and yet, halfway through this scenario, Wallace leaves his enclosure, recklessly attacks stronger units and in the case of my last game, kills himself by running into a visible booby trap so the game ends despite the fact that my army has met its objectives. Tweak this mistake and update and you'll have a true classic here.

When I downloaded this game, it looked fun... but I didn't know how to enjoy the fun. There's no instructions on how to play conquest mode, or how to get enough money for new generals.

This game has grown on me. I really don't ever pay attention to in app purchases, but can you add one where it unlocks all of the other ages in conquest? It would be awesome for me. Thanks.

The game has become more based on making the company more money. It's hard to win without having to buy items or heroes. Not very historical and with cartoonish animations

I have played every easy tech game since the beginning and have enjoyed each one, they are all unique and I still play them all from time to time to appreciate their qualities. This new game is very fun, I've had a great time playing it, the conquest mode is the best part with the many eras and nations to chose from the variety is very much appreciated. The empire mode is entertaining and i like the challenge and general system each with unique stats and descriptions. The campaigns are fun but the later ones can be tedious and very much scripted in sense that the map only offers one way to victory and you must utilize it. In conclusion I give it five stars as it's been very entertaining and I can see many more hours of conquest on the horizion.
