Simple but useful

I now use Eternity to track the amount of time I spend working on different projects, but I first started using it 5 years ago, when I was trying to finish my Masters degree and wanted to keep track of how long I spent writing my thesis vs. doing other things. The functionality is simple, but it does what it says it will and it does that well. You can edit your start and end times (if you remember to start tracking after you’ve started the project) and you can see reports on the time you’ve logged. Over the years, I’ve found this app incredibly useful and I’m glad it still works on iOS12.

I have used this program for years, and it’s solid and economical. It’s straightforward design, without a lot of bells and whistles. I pay for the syncing ability, and I use it to track my study time. I wish it had the functionality to change item/task names without having to delete them, lose everything, and start again. I also would appreciate the ability to create task-types or templates which would allow you to create a predefined task style. I have multiple classes in school, but they all follow a similar format - having to reproduce the same sub-categories for every class is time consuming. To sum up, a great program that could benefit from more flexibility with renaming and creating user defined types/styles that could be easily reproduced.

The free version has everything you need. I normally don’t buy paid versions of apps, but I did for this one because it is useful for me ($0.99/mo or $9.99/yr). I think the paid version just allows you to sync with your other devices. Design: easy to use Useful tips: tagging, notes, allowing multiple timers Suggestions for the app developer: 1. Thank you for creating this & making it free! 2. Make it possible for users to create notifications to pop up at a repeatable period of time they set after the beginning of the latest timer (e.g. allow users to create a small notification every 20 minutes — useful for studying/work/productivity) 3. Allow more user modification of colors (i.e. full gradient) but that’s just because I really like being able to choose my favorite colors

I tried several other similar apps, but none compare to this one when it comes to options and customization. The reports are readily accessible. It takes a little time to get used to the time entry, but it’s worth the small learning curve. Thanks!!

Great App, very useful for me

Been using this app for years and it has been very valuable in helping my to focus on the time spent each day doing a myriad of activities . Now I know how much time I spent on my various work and home activities, as well as sleep. This is helping me to be more productive, aware, and I use the reports to help tell me when my focus and priorities are getting out of wack so that I Kano was I need to make corrections. The developer was very helpful when I was having trouble syncing Eternity between my iPhone and iPad. My email requesting guidance was responded to quickly and thoroughly. Thank you for the great app!

Tirelessly tried nearly every time tracking/logging app currently in the app store & this is the only one that has a seamless & non headache inducing UI and UX. Please, please, please keep the streamlined layout without adding numerous nonessential features to the app in future updates. Simplicity is said to be the ultimate form of complexity, and you all have nailed it.

I tried many apps, and found this one as the most useful and functional to track my daily tasks. It keeps activities on track automatically and easy edited manually. I very hope that developer will keep this application alive regardless of popular competitive apps that are still in need of improvements in their functionality. Thank you!

I've tried a handful of time tracking apps as part of a quantified self project to gain insight into what I do with my time. This app allows me to make custom categories, easily start and stop timers and look at my data reports immediately.

I’ve been using this for months to log time for basically anything I need to log time for. It’s free, but still as good as expensive alternatives. I’m giving it five stars even though it’s not yet formatted correctly for my iPhone X screen, because that’s how useful it is.
