I added the items to the cauldron. Absolutely nothing happened. I am left with what appears to be a stick and I can't find any use for it. So I give in and I by the hints for three dollars. According to the hint, I either place a lid, or a lid appears on the cauldron. No lid appeared, I can't find one, and the hint that I paid $3 for does not tell me where to get it. So I cannot progress through this game at all. I restarted the game and this time thru it gave me the item. Of all the ESCAPE games I have played, this one was the lamest. Sorry for the spoiler, but you find 8 items and throw them in a cauldron and open 2 combo and 2 key locks. Very little effort went into the first puzzle. The second puzzle was actually thrall good.
