Casual mode
Omni Soft puts out really good escape games and this one does not disappoint. Lots to do, unique, clever, difficulty just right, autosave, built in hint system is good if needed, but I did not like the 3D system and controls where you move the screen all around manually..it's dizzying! One other annoyance here..once zoomed in on a puzzle, you cannot open inventory to use your item on that puzzle..you have to zoom back out, choose the item, then zoom back in to use it. Deducted a star for this and the overall 3D system...sorry. Still I look forward to more from Omni. Thank you!!

Happy to see a new game but wary of the 3D. Controls are a little complicated but I've an open mind so here goes.... Yes, bored of the 3D and limited usability, not bothering to finish this game but I love the developer and hope for something better in the near future.

Omni's latest and my first use of "escape" 3D graphics. Slight learning curve but not difficult. Very well thought out and execution is almost flawless. Nice walkthrough screen shots, pleasant non-distracting background sounds, and "at will" ads offer a nice break between levels. Thanks for The Hills!
Good game but a little buggy

I found the 3D a little cumbersome to navigate. Also, the picture in the bathroom that was supposed to open when you touch the corners in a certain order did not work. The paper airplane that revealed the order appeared in the same item box as the knife. When I tapped on it to activate the item, sometimes the knife would appear and sometimes the unfolded airplane would appear.

It started off pretty good despite 3 freezes and a glitch in a clue that I had to restart the app for it to appear. But then midway through stage 7 it got disorganized fast. It was like the original developer was fired and someone else took over. Nothing made sense. Clues didn't make sense to lead to the next. Had to watch several walkthroughs at this point only to still scratch my head on what in the world was going on. Solve one puzzle and the walkthrough takes you to some weird place you'd never think to look to uncover something no clue lead you to. Deleted midway through stage 7. Just got off the tracks something bad. I've played a gazillion escape games and this just made no sense near the end.

The controls really made the game difficult to navigate. There were a few clues you had to angle in to them at just the right position (The door, the computer and the sink). I must've tried the sink 10x before I got lucky and found the proper sequence. The game is truly worth 5 stars, so I don't like deducting 1. But the clues and game depend entirely on proper navigation...making it unnecessarily complicated. Anyone not a die-hard escape game fan would probably get frustrated from the maneuvering (and difficulty finding the navigation-dependent clues) and quit. Outside of that distraction...the game and puzzles are quite good. Challenging. And the gameplay is plenty long enough.

Overall, it was great fun. Had to consult YouTube a few times, the in game hints never loaded for me. Very long length. Was sad when it ended. However, the banner ad is super annoying. It is placed right in the center of the direction buttons. No matter what is advertised, it always has a white background and a big arrow. When moving quickly across the house, it is so easy to hit it by mistake. Other than that, please make more like this one!

This is a good, long, game with just the right level of challenge... mostly not too hard but also with some more difficult puzzles. However, the controls are clunky... the ads are in the way and the inventory list is inconvenient. Many things need to be touched just right or you end up clicking the wrong thing. It took some getting used to and there were frustrations along the way, but once I adjusted for the awkwardness of the controls, I enjoyed the game quite a lot. I especially appreciated how long it is.... longer than this developer's other games.
