Doesn’t work. It says connecting but I’m on the same Wi-Fi with the phone plugged in and my pic with the EpocCam app open. It’s not connecting or even working. Sorry EpocCam, but it won’t work to easy. So I’ll continue to us OBS Phonecam for my videos.

I have an iphone and one of the updates of the ios let’s you see what is using your camera. i wasn’t using anything that would require camera or this app and it was using my camera. i can only imagine that it might have been opened the entire time watching me. do not download and try to find another app.

First install on PC, Webroot said it was a virus. Wasn’t too surprised as many other reviews said it was a virus. Something to do with advertising, so I just ignored it. Installation completed effortlessly on both devices. App is very handy for a DIY webcam, especially if you don’t want to spend the extra money on an actual one. There is one problem though, and it’s annoying. The connection between my phone and PC isn’t always reliable. It’ll work for awhile, and then the screen in OBS will go black. Pretty sure it isn’t a problem with my phone or cable because they both work fine otherwise. I doubt it is OBS, because I can unplug my phone and see the three blue dots showing it is looking for a connection. Please fix this issue, it’s getting annoying.

Disappointed that the 2021.3 update didn’t maintain backwards compatibility with pre-Metal GPU Macs. Can’t use the app anymore

Video alone works ok if you don’t mind the latency. However when recording audio from my iPhone mini, the audio and video gets choppy…dropping out frames…etc
Issues with newer versions

Since updating the app to the newer layout and version the app seems to be selective when it wants to work and when it doesn’t. I only use usb connection and I’ll need to fully restart my pc to reset the connection. Great free app and I’ve used it for years now but it’s been a little buggy as of late.
Did not work with MacBook Pro

My phone could not connect to my MacBook Pro by WiFi nor by cable. I'm not spending money on the pro version.
