App doesn’t work
juanpato92

App not working. Is a complete mess, I don’t know how is possible that JBL have apps that don’t work at all

I’ve tried this app on several devices, it worked briefly once. Why even advertise this as a feature?

HOT TRASH!
Palmtreepilot

The app takes a while to connect then disconnects after a matter of seconds and is near impossible to reconnect, while leaving whatever changes you made in effect. In my case, I slid the volume fader around and it stuck at 100 and disconnected, and now the hiss from the speaker is much more present and won’t go away without a reset and reconnect to the app. geat idea, terrible execution, Needs improvement!

Reset Speaker First

If you can’t connect do this: Turn off power switch. Hold down EQ+ and Boot buttons while turning the power back on. Wait until all LED’s start flashing before releasing the buttons. After the speaker fully boots up, Push the Bluetooth button once to light the blue LED. Open the App and push the + symbol. Your speaker should show up. Select it. Now, one of the four round icons should show your speaker model number. Push that icon and you should see the speaker control home page. Done! You can now add up to four speakers by the same process. Once speakers are added, you shouldn’t need to reset each speaker again. Other than difficulty connecting the first time, this is a great app for users of the JBL Eon 600 series. It is an app for controlling the speaker - NOT for streaming music over Bluetooth. You can’t stream music to these speakers without buying an external Bluetooth module from other vendors.

Waste of time

Bring that speaker back to whatever you bought it, and stop wasting time and money

Average Stars = 1.4 / Bluetooth doesn’t stream music!

First something is wrong with Apple’s stars!! There are 31 Reviews totaling 43 stars given. Most are 1 Star! With an average of 1.4! The App is a Nice feature for sound techs but no useful purpose for the 99% who thought you would be able to stream music to the speaker. Really shady of JBL to not tell you anywhere that it doesn’t stream music... Oh, but wait, if they they told you, then no one would buy it!!! DEVELOPER: Your constant reply of the same response is an indication of JBL’s poor instructions and inadequate communications.

Meh

Nice concept, but kinda bummed out knowing that the only Bluetooth feature is the “mixer” and no music streaming. Also, the connection is weak as well, and it disconnects in a matter of minutes if you leave the app.

Horrendous

This is a very frustrating app for a terrific speaker. Good luck getting this to connect. I have tried iPhone and Android to no avail. I have watched all the videos and followed their instructions. Only once did I connect. JBL should be ashamed. This should be a simple application. Perhaps there is a problem with firmware. Too bad Eon Connect can’t access the speaker for a firmware update. Avoid this app unless you enjoy being frustrated.
