Why can’t it always show current date?

Is it too difficult to have the app read the current date from the phone and use that as the date to show? It is a complete annoyance to have to change the date to see how my system is working. It make me wonder if the system is actually working correctly if this little piece of technical coding is eluding your expertise.
v2.0.7 Not iOS 11 compatible?

Enlighten v2.0.7 says I need to update to iOS 11 version but this app was updated 2 days ago...10 days AFTER iOS 11 was released! v2.0.6 would crash on launch, this update does not. But, this latest version defaults to data from ~3 weeks ago (Sep 8, 2017) not the current date. If date is changed, it switches back to that old date when toggling between viewing solar data by text / numbers vs. by graph.

This app has too many 1star reviews --- it is a free service. So while the text in these poor reviews is reasonable accurate, I love being able to talk about my solar production at a social function and show some awesome data, up to date, within the last 45 minutes. The real data is seen in my electric bill of $0. Thanks for this reasonably easy to use free service!

The update in the app still doesn’t go to the current date information. Even when update for IOS 11.

Very basic information - could be a lot better. No longer updates to current date (always shows Sept 8 for some reason).

*Update* Latest version is much improved. Works with iOS 11 now and no longer requires a login each time. You have to log in every time. The app seems dated. Does not seem to work with iOS 11. Newest update still does not work. App crashes at launch every time.

Update (Oct 10) - by virtue of the calendar flipping to October, app no longer starts by showing Sept 8 data. If you wander back into Sept though, it goes to Sept 8. So still a little busted but no longer a big deal. Update (Sept 28) - Still not working. app still opens up with data for Sept 8. After latest update (which said it had various bug fixes) when I open the app, it still shows a date that was several weeks ago. It used to show the current day's data. Please fix. iOS 11.0.1. iPhone 8.

i clicked the link provided by my solar installer and created an account, downloaded the app and it just says “there is no system associated with your account, contact installer to verify account” so basically it does absolutely nothing. i deleted the app since it is useless...
Login now saved, but still needs work

As promised, I added two stars for saving login information. Latest power value is incorrect. Needs to consider the time (15 min) to align with peak power value. To make a five star app, add a notification widget and Apple Watch complication for total daily production/current power.
Buggy updates and poor customer service.

I’ve had the envoy unit for three years now. It’s seem to work fine initially, and now it’s no longer talking to my solar panels. After three months of going back-and-forth with the envoy customer service, I found of those that Saufferer pushed that was pushed my envoy that has bugs in it. Two months later I’m still waiting for a bug fix.
