A luxuriant abstract 3D puzzle game, wherein the player explores many different rules and mechanics over 17 diverse worlds, each with their own objectives.
I'm still only in the first world, but it's starting to click. Think of it as a 3D Sokoban. :)
If you like puzzle games, or even if you hate puzzle games because they require too much forward planning and not enough intuitive thinking, you will love this unique game. And about half-way through the game, something happens that may just change your understanding of what a videogame can be.
You should really try this. It's a bit like what I'd imagine Sokoban in three dimensions would be, but more varied and challenging. The aesthetic may be too austere for some, but even if you don't like how it looks or sounds, you can't deny the brilliance of the puzzles and the originality of the game.
Well worth the price. The puzzles are engaging and intuitive and keep you coming back for more.
Love this game, think Tetris meets n+ ,meets portal, meets marble blast with the a sound track from Osmos. The developer totally pulled it off. Nice. Watch these guys.
The sense of delight from solving what initially looks impossible is immeasurable. ECT is constantly exposing the player to new, mindbending concepts.
Stephen Lavelle is a genius and this is his first commercial venture. Get it on whatever platform you can and savor it - a striking, generous puzzle game that transforms beautifully as you progress.
