Not liking this new version

My iPad was stolen so I lost my favorite Jane Austen books. So I et a new iPad, and nothing will download. I get the message : download not successful. Days later still no success. The app is hard to use unlike the other one I had. It find it unresponsive many times.

Since Apple's big update today, this app no longer works on my IPad. I'm very sad!!! ---Hopefully the designers can fix it. Also, can you make a way to edit our favorites? I added a book that I do NOT want in my favorites any longer.
Love the idea, but it needs work

The app is great when I can listen straight through, but not when I need to pause midway. Sometimes it works perfectly. Other times it resets to the start of the chapter or to the home screen so that I have to reopen the book. And it's difficult to adjust the starting point with the tiny progress bar... Even with these shortcomings, it's a handy app. I might even volunteer to read for Librovox...
