EngineLink supports all OBD-II and EOBD compliant vehicles sold worldwide. If in doubt check with your manufacturer first or look for 'OBD2' on written on a big white label in your engine bay.

The app needs an ELM compatible Bluetooth Low Energy (for iPhone4s and later) or Wi-Fi adapter to work.

Does not work

As others have stated it connects to dongle but does not read any info from the Ecu. Says it’s connected but does nothing. Waste of money. Refund.

For Gen II Prius
PriusRob

Haven’t had codes to read or clear yet but what I like most is the PID values for Prius hybrid battery. Shows the 14 block voltages and internal resistance in real time, plus inverter temperature and many other hybrid system values. A better user interface would make it a 5 star app for my needs. But just the Prius specific values make it well worth $5.99.

Can't get to read anything but standard gauges that's already on dash and kills motor if I try anything else

Good app
Fifth bt

I would like to rate 5 starts if it is fully compatible in the iPad. The app functions well and serves the purpose of what I need. I hope it could work at full screen mode in the iPad. However, it doesn't. Though I aware there is a HD version for iPad, I didn't choose that because it hasn't been updated since last year. Besides, I use it on my iPad2, and thus, the HD is a waste for me. I just hope the app could display in the full screen on iPad devices.

Perfect for the 6.0l Powerstroke
Skinny_Dragon

This is the most cost effective alternative to analog diesel gauges or digital monitors like the Edge. I owned the Edge CTS and loved it, but I found it to be bulky. The app is only a few bucks and the dedicated Bluetooth LE adapter was $35 on Amazon with free shipping. This thing is vastly more customizable than the CTS was. The developer even has 6.0l PIDs you can download for free.

Great Customer Service!

I use Engine Link as a systems monitor while on the road, having a code scanner is a nice bonus. I bought this to work with my new LELink BLE dongle but it would not connect no matter what I tried. Bought a ELM327 wifi dongle and it connects and works fine. --- But, I really liked the idea of connecting with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and not wifi so I won't have to lose my internet while using Engine Link. An email to support was answered in less than an hour with a couple of things for me to try with the LELink. This showed that the dongle was defective. Engine Link Support contacted the vender who sold me the LELink dongle, and a new one was sent out on the same day. Happy happy happy!

Waste of money

Complete waste of money barely shows anything for live data you will get a lot more with all of the other free apps that are out there highly disappointed after paying for this

Amazing tool for EVERY car owner
Alexwiwa

Only complaint: I wish this had Infiniti specific codes. This app has saved me hundreds by telling me what the problems are so I can just look up solutions. Tons of nice features too. I wish it updated the display more frequently, but this is an obd scanner first and it excels. Every car owner should have this app and a scanner. Even if you're not fixing it yourself, being armed with the knowledge of what your problem is will help keep you from getting abused by a mechanic.

Works Great!
bmnave

I was pretty bummed when I first got the LELink Bluetooth OBD-II adapter and paired it up with this App (which is the recommended one for the adapter). It didn’t seem like the combination could read all the error codes from my 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid. Not sure if the developer trolls the reviews on Amazon.com or if they collect car make/model data from the app, but as of v5 of the app, all my previous problems are solved. I can now read all the error/trouble codes from my vehicle. Now I just have to figure out what they mean...
