Freezes quite often then takes the game back to first room without saving progress. Frustrating

There’s no way to save your game. Got the door open to the first room and was called away to attend to real life. When I reopened the game I was back at the beginning. No thanx!

Fun game but very obnoxious to have to start from scratch each time because it won't save. This is probably the last time I'll try it.
