Endless Nights RPG

Endless Nights is a role-playing game in the rogue-like tradition, which means randomized adventure areas, random dungeons and a different adventure each time you play the game. The TitanFire RPG system used in the game provides for strategic combat by putting an emphasis on defense and on developing strategies to break through the defenses of your opponent during combat.

Endless Nights lets you play **your** way, with a skills-based system that recognizes the actions of your character in the game and develops those skills. This means you can choose to use a sword, or a mace, use magic or pray to the gods, and you never need worry about picking a class and no visiting trainers to 'learn' new skills.

A tweak to the rogue-like style is the Profile system, which allows for a certain amount of permanence with the inclusion of profiles that allow you to carry over some gold or gems to a new character.

Endless Nights Features:

* A rogue-like RPG with random quests, random dungeons and a new adventure each time you play.
* Over 100 different abilities to learn in the skills-based system.
* Strategic turn-based combat.
* Profiles let you choose a different way to play the game.
* Themed monster areas will have you clearing woods of spiders and taking out a group of kobolds.
* A crafting system that includes magical manastones that can be found or rewarded by quests.

Endless Nights is similar to RPG classics like Rogue, Moria, Omega, Angband and Diablo with a level of challenge similar to Demon's Souls and Dark Souls.

A sequel to Endless Depths, the game takes the fun out of the dungeon and into overland areas, providing random quests to go along with the goodness.

Note: The public domain tilesets used in Endless Nights come from the RLTiles collection. Some of the sounds used come from www.freesfx.co.uk, including sounds by qudobup, and the font used for the Endless Nights logo was created by fontmesa at fontspace.com.

Reviews

Could be 5 star.

Sorry but I am grateful for a d pad but this one is lazy and is my least favorite virtual pad out there. Just feels cheap. Love the game though.

Addictive

Great and addictive game. Please fix the inventory bug that also exists in Endless Depths 2. The first item on the third screen doesn’t display in the inventory. You have to shift the items before you can see that item.

Too hard!

This game is too difficult. The UI is also a bit clunky, but better than in Endless Adventures.

Idk if you eve get around to reading these reviews anymore, but I’ve bought several of your games and out of all of hem this is hands down the best one you’ve ever made and released on ios. Sure this game has issues. Quest progression problems along with a severe issue in difficulty scaling, but still it was great. For people who were fans of classic rogue likes this was a shining beacon of gamer hope. I felt like your dungeons games were trying to improve on this, I just don't think they were able to though. This game has great character progression, i love the leveling and abilities. I love being able to get minor quests, and I love that you put hidden secret powers available for unlock like forked lightning. If there is anyway you can ever recreate something like this. Like an endless nights 2 please do bc it was epic

Solid
AnutherRogue

I just played through one life. The game is fairly solid, and I enjoyed playing. My one gripe is the ui. It feels so messy, I found myself searching for the amount of gold I had. I also had trouble pressing the equip buttons. Overall, this game is worth 99c because of how easy it is to pick up or go for a high score. Can't wait to see some updates :D

Bad UI, inscrutable rules, bugs
Dr_Injection

Title says it all. Don't mind simple graphics but the UI is clumsy and I have issues with items disappearing randomly. The rules of combat etc are not explained anywhere and are inscrutable. I cannot see any strategy. For example sometimes defenses (parry, dodge, etc) but there is no explanation of what that means. It all seems random to me. If there is strategy to be had there needs to be some documentation. I love TBS games. I have been having great fun with the kingturn games, but this game isn't even worth the $1.

Great Roguelike
Kaz42

Best I've played in iOS, even with a few minor bugs in the first version. I'm hooked on Hardcore mode, true Rogue style, but the other modes are a cool idea, and more forgiving than losing your character to one lucky crit. ;) Can't wait to see more updates to this, maybe adding a notification when you achieve a class (apart from the first time you hit the achievement classes). Maybe add achievements for all possible classes, so we have something to try for.

Solid game, good value
Asibin

Great game for the cost. Good balance of challenge and replayability.

Every thing I hoped for with Endless Depths.

This game is a must play for any RPG enthusiast.

Fun
EpicLT

Fun, simple oldschool rpg. Difficulty is extremely high however, maybe an easy profile should exist, so players can experiment and learn builds and strategies? And now I actually get decent items with the update, making advancing possible! I made it to morra town until a scroll summoned a cyclops against me in battle. Maybe a shop to identify items would be nice? And finally- is holy strike supposed to be a prayer? It isnt yellow, but as a paladin I cannot use it because of the fizzle. Besides those, its a great game and I cant wait to see more!
